Pumpkin Festival 2016

By Brooke Ferguson Two weekends ago was the annual Pumpkin Festival. At the Pumpkin Festival, they have many interesting things to do. They have a back in time type area. It shows you what blacksmiths do, archery and artifacts. There are many booths set up at the Pumpkin Festival. They are mostly local businesses and such! There are candlemakers, food items and clothing/jewelry booths set up. Many items are made by hand. At the Pumpkin Festival, there is also many kid activities; a petting zoo, hay maze, and inflatables. The biggest pumpkin are usually put on display! The Pumpkin Festival is a great tradition around here!

By Brooke Ferguson In honor of football season being here, I thought a recipe for an easy sweet treat would be a good idea! Football is also about the food! I thought this recipe is quick, easy, and yummy. Here's how to make it! You will need pretzels, Hershey's hugs , and M&M's 1) Preheat oven to 200 degrees 2) Put pretzels on wax paper on a baking sheet 3) Place Hershey hugs on top of pretzels 4) Place in oven for 3 minutes to let hugs get gooey 5) Place your team's colored M&M's on top of the gooey Hershey hugs 6) Then, sit them in he fridge to chill for 15 minutes!
