Cole Brookstone { Sleepy Admiration }
A/N: Ended up loving this a lot more then I thought, brings me back to when I used to have a fat crush on Cole
It had been months of constant stress building up from the amounts of bad guys hanging around as if they own the place which was unacceptable. Now that it had cooled down a bit everyone had different ways of relaxing but you? You were sleeping day in and day out, even during dinner one time with waking up with rice sticking to your cheeks.

"Hey, so, we've been thinking of having a movie night for some fun! You should join, all you've done is sleep for the last few days!" Jay spit out with a mischievous grin on his lips, nudging you with his elbow as you sat between him and Kai, blinking at his question but nodding slow after a moment of trying to understand his fast speaking. "Yeah, sure. Seems enjoyable" as the chopstick rolled at the small rice ball that wasn't mushed.
Cole had noticed the seemingly off mood like he always dose but didn't point it out, simply sending a full hearted smile when your gaze lifted to meet his, your heart skipping a beat before fleeting to face the food to finish the plate with not much more conversation. "Great! It starts pretty much after we're done eating, so better hurry to get a spot on the couch." Jay chuckled with his announcement hearing some smaller groans from the others about immediately jumping to another thing but they caved either way.
Not long after some started to clean up after themselves along with you, taking your own dishes and some bowls to help empty the table. A bit less efficient then how fast the others were going but tried nonetheless. "Let me." Spoken in a gental tone next to you as it was clearly cole from his shadow alone with broad shoulders and figure. "I.. uh its okay. You don't have to do that." You mumbled but before you could finish he had already token it from you and washing them.
Pausing as you looked up at him suprised by the action, looking at his side profile which was sculptured by some god or something. "I'd do it faster anyway." He chuckled glancing at you shortly giving a small wink. "Get a seat while you can." Nodding with a small breath "You put this one yourself if you sit on the floor now." Snorring back before letting him win and leaving the kitchen to enter into the living room.
The couch was surprisingly empty as you made do of a empty corner section, stealing the fluffiest blanket as the spots get taken. Now as the movie was chosen and the seat next to you was still empty, looking around to find everyone but.. one "I got the popcorn, we only had one bag that I could find." Cole spoke as he made ways to sit next to you. Right next to you.
Gosh had to be some sort of torture, sinking into the couch more his arm now around the back pillow of your side, with seemingly no space between the two of you. Trying to move as little as possible trying to not make it worse then it has to be, even with all these betteling emotions your expression never seemed to shift from neutral.
As the movie went on your eyes got heavier by the minute, fighting sleep but also trying to engage in as little physical touch as possible along with now failing miserably. Dozing into a slumber along with your head slipping to land on his chest, freezing him in place but wrapped the arm from behind to now around your frame. Hoping his heart wouldn't wake you up.
Not too long after he followed suit into a deep sleep, resting his head on yours. Jay in his usual fashion took at least a few pictures for later teasing the duo, eventually everyone else moved to their won respected rooms and left you two in the dark sleeping soundly.

Time had gone by and you woke up at around 2 am, rubbing your eyes in a slow motion "hm?" Confused at the warmth before seeing him, eyes widening with a jolt of life hit you. The sudden movement seemed to have woken him too, blinking to refocus his vision before glancing down twords you followed a lazy yet almost shy smile. "Your sleepiness rubbed off on me." He chuckled.
"Dont be silly, you're just saying that." Coming out meaner then on purpose from your end, catching him off gaurd. "Did I upset you or something? It feels like you always have something out for me." It came to a suprised for both of them that he said it aloud, taking a moment to figure out how to respond. "You haven't done anything.." you mumbled looking everywhere in the room but him.
"That, avoiding me." He points out almost with a sad tone. "Why do you do it then?" Narrowing his bushy eyebrows as it left you speechless, struggling to find a voice. "I.. dont know." Bullshit. Screamed in your mind as your face felt warmer by the second but hidden by the darkness of the room. "That's a unreasonable reason." Speaking up his mind feeling bolder then usually.
"I just.." fumbling words as they stuck in your throat in a overwhelming manner, feeling suddenly desperate for a glass of water. "Just what?" The voice was softer as he spoke now trying to pull on your strings, cocking his head to the side still keeping a steady gaze on your mostly hiden features. "I just like you, okay?! No big deal, now forget I ever said so." Turning your face away from him trying to create space.
Cole immediately mushed up grabbing your chin to face him, both matching with hearts dancing skipping steps. Soft enough to but hurt but rough enough to get a point across, he wasn't playing. "Really? I was convinced you hated me for a while now" his laugh came from releaf and happiness, before you could say much his lips meet yours in a soft peck. Leaving you both silent as he pulled back well tried before you rushed to give him a peck too crashing into each other lightly getting a small giggle out from the both.
After that night you'd both often be found cuddle up for naps.
