Another Hardbroom Headcanon:

In her youth, Constance had two pets; her cat, Morgana, and a bat, Orlok. Yet, when she began Witch Training College, poor Constance had to give Orlok away for her headmistress and personal tutor, Heketty Broomhead, LOATHED bats with the passion of a thousand suns.

Ironically, Constance would later go on to marry the over-sized bat, himself, Severus Snape.

As for Orlok, either Constance set him free into the wild, gave him to her younger brother, or gave Orlok to Severus when the two were young students in 1976-1977 (Constance was at Hogwarts on a visit).

Miss Hardbroom begins standing in front of Mildred, blocking Mistress Broomhead from going to her, but the moment Broomhead raises her hand to push HB aside, Miss Hardbroom rushes to move out of her way, flattens herself against the door, and clutches it like a lifeline. She has the look of a scared, abused child. She clearly has some old scars that never healed. I wonder if season three of the new version of The Worst Witch will ever address Miss Hardbroom’s past trauma as a student under Mistress Broomhead?

In regards to Caitin’s dad’s affair, I respect Maya for keeping a cool head about it, but what the heck about her trying to give him the benefit of the doubt or considering maybe there’s another explanation for kissing some lady on a date. Just, what the heck, Maya. What you saw happen, happened. There’s no other explanation. “maybe you shouldn’t jump to conclusions” … ok, lol.
