Summary: Being a soldier in the same war but you were injected with something else while you were captured, you and Bucky were close in the war but he disappeared and now he returns.

Warnings: Some swearing, fighting?

Gonna make this a few chapters long if I can. :D

And im going to change the way they get injected with the serum

  When you signed up to the war people thought you were crazy being a woman and all they didn’t take you seriously until you kicked some officers ass in front of the whole squad and gained their respect especially James Buchannan Barnes. He smirked watching as you beat this guy senseless trying to grab your ass now he was on the ground whining like a child. You rolled your eyes walking away seeing your brother Steve he looked at the guy behind you laughing.

“What did this one do?” He asked as you both walked.

“Tried to grab my butt should’ve known better” You said glaring at him. Steve shook his head as he got called he frowned walking away giving you a small wave before disappearing. Bucky caught up to you being his usual flirty self.

“That was a beating love” He chuckled you smiled at him he was your crush it was stupid you sounded like a teenage girl. His handsome smile his hair his eyes just everything. You shook the thoughts from your head when suddenly the alarm rang. You and Bucky rushed to the Armory you were under attack you grabbed a gun and some armour as men rushed around. You tried to find Steve worried about him.

“I’m going to find Steve” You yelled over the gun fire to Bucky he nodded as you ran shooting as you went. You couldn’t find him though and you began to panic when someone came behind you knocking you out cold.  

Waking up you shook your hands you were tied up you frowned looking in front of you seeing Steve, but he was bigger?

“Steve?” You whisper called he groaned his head rolling to the side as his eyes opened.

“Y/n?” He asked you nodded wondering what the hell happened to him.

“What’s happening?” He asked when someone walked in.

“Glad to see your all awake” You frowned looking both sides of you seeing more men from the army. You shook at the restraints growling in frustration.

“I wouldn’t do that dear” The man smirked as he had a button in his hand you realised the chip on your neck. You stopped gulping a little as he smirked at everyone.

“Such beauty” He said he was German by his accent. He was a short man with dirty blond hair.

“You will do quite fine to my army” He snickered, and you glared at him. You were left like that strapped to some standing table you sighed giving up on the restraints.

“What did he do to us?” A man asked.

“I don’t know” Another answered as Steve looked down at his body confused.

“Y/n?” He asked you looked up seeing his confused look about his body.

“I don’t know Steve they might have injected you with something I don’t know” You said rushed realising you didn’t feel to good. Your head hunched you wanted to puke.

“Y/n what’s wrong?” Steve asked seeing your face pale as your world blurred.

“Y/N” You heard distantly before your world went back.

The next time you woke up you were in a different area it looked like a hospital you heard the beeping of a monitor and you turned your head seeing New York.

“Miss please don’t sit up” The nurse said as you tried to sit up.

“Where am i?” You asked.

“New York central hospital” She said you frowned how did you get here. Steve walked in and you smiled happy to see your friend alive he hugged you gently.

“What happened?” You asked confused.

“We were injected with something and you passed out and the base we were in got attacked and we escaped but you’ve been out for a month now” He said sadly you froze a month? You sat up holding your head.

“Water?” He asked handing you a cup which you sculled down.

“Thank you, Steve,” You whispered he nodded smiling rubbing your shoulder.

“I have to go soon were leaving at 6o 100” He said you nodded sighing glad he was ok he was buffer bigger.

“Ill see you soon” He said giving your forehead a kiss as he walked away. You sighed laying back in the bed.

  Another month passed, and you were called back to the war you were filled on a bunch of information Hydra was the one who captured you and created an army ready to fight. You were trying to soak in all the info they were telling you wanting to kill the Basterds that did this to you.

War was here gun fire filled the air with the screams of men, bombs going off it was intense. You were in the air with Steve hitting them from above, but they had something an experimental bomb that they were going to detonate. You were in the air ship with Steve as you both looked around for the object. You couldn’t detonate it though you had a stupid thought, but it was suicide.

“Were going to have to freeze it in the water but one of us needs to fly the ship” You said he froze shaking his head knowing you were going to do it.

“No don’t even think about it” He said you sighed.

“We have no choice get your ass off this plane please Steve” You begged tears in your eyes he shook his head his eyes watering.

“I’m not leaving you” He said you opened the back hatch slowly sighing.

“Yes, you are” You said pushing him through the door he would land in the water as you flew off going down into the water muttering your last words.

  Steve yelled out after he came above the water seeing your ship hit the water he was crying as he treaded water knowing he had just lost you. Some men came to his rescue pulling him out of the water before he froze over he watched were you were holding tightly onto the towel. You were a hero now.

  You don’t remember anything from the war when you wake up. In a hospital in somewhere you frowned seeing cords attached to you and your brother sleeping in a chair.

“Steve?” You said your voice groggy. He shot up rushing to you tears in his eyes cupping your cheek.

“Thank god your alive” He muttered hugging you tightly you frowned.

“What happened?” You asked confused.

“You don’t remember?” He asked you shook your head it was blank.

“It was the war you flew the ship into the water” He whispered you frowned you couldn’t remember.

“You were frozen” He said.

“For how long?” You asked. He froze looking like he didn’t want to tell you.

“Tell me damn it” You said.

“70 years” He muttered now you froze you didn’t look over 30 you were breathing heavily.

“Calm down breath ok it’s a lot but the serum kept you like this” HE said hurriedly you remember the serum and everything but not flying into the ice.

It was hard to get use to the new world everything was different Steve showed you a lot of things and introduced you to Tony Stark Howards son you knew Howard. He found you in the ocean you were grateful to him saving your life. But now you had other problems.

OK so Bucky isn't in this one much but in the enxt chapter he will be :D
