Say goodbye to broths that are too thin and tasteless! With this slow cooker recipe, you can make a hearty broth that is great for soups, stews, and other dishes.
Ingredients: 2 lbs beef bones. 2 carrots, chopped. 2 celery stalks, chopped. 1 onion, chopped. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 2 bay leaves. 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns. 8 cups water. Salt, to taste. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar.
Instructions: Place beef bones, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaves, and peppercorns into the slow cooker. Pour water over the ingredients until they are fully submerged. Add salt and apple cider vinegar. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-6 hours. Once cooked, remove the bones and vegetables from the slow cooker. Strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl or pot. Let the broth cool, then transfer it to containers for storage or immediate use.
