Woke up and my beef bone broth was cooked to the end
This is not a metaphor.
I left a huge piece of bone marrow to simmer overnight, turns out the broth was almost completely dried out by the morning, and I could hear splashes of heat.
I was excited to have ~1L of broth to play with for the next few days, good food for healing the guts. Turns out, I have just bout 1/5 of a cup, which is okay, I will enjoy it in due times.
Yes, it's always better to completely cover the pot, so the water doesn't evaporate much (I did not). But did not think in 12 hours it would reduce this much. Good lesson of the day.
I heard about broths from one of my fitness coaches. She recommended:
-beef bones, for guts -chicken bones, for joints -fish bones, for skin, nails, hair (extremities).
Will go and make another broth now, with a bone piece that fits in the pot !
Bon appetit.
