Last night I had a good conversation
"I am trying to understand men" she says.
Reference to the book "Men are from Mars, Woman are from Venus." The advice was to stop trying to understand other planet, and simply pay attention to the signs, and our self-guidance, watch out for red flags against what we value as most important. They won't change. It's hard to change, to want to change and to be experienced professionally to help someone through change. Red flags are irrefutable. They can help us safe energy, time and opportunities if we act out of courage and authenticity before things become comfortable and we trick ourselves into believing it's not that important, but in reality it is because it brings daily frustration.
2. Plan A, Plan B vs just Plan A
-> the speech that broke the internet, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Don't make a plan B. "When I want to go to Hollywood, I didn't have a plan B" "When I wanted to be a bodybuilder, I did not have a plan B" Keep at it, until you get it, no matter what happens along the way. Don't have a plan B "my whole life I never had a plan B"
3. Clarity vs the real implications of Clarity (Clarity has consequences)
-> it's not simply about a moment of clarity, clarity comes at a price
Example: Someone decided to stop drinking alcohol. Finally he decides. It's just too much and he wants to stop. It seems clear to him. That's it ! Then, comes the next social event, and the next social event, everyone's drinking beer, and he is "feeling boring" or keeping judging himself, then he starts to drink again.
This is not clarity. This was motivation to stop, strong motivation. But not clarity. Clarity has implications, it means his life transforms and he is OK with that because it makes sense to him to that level. Clarity has consequences. Clarity is not easy.
4. A good place to find yourself, Malaysia.
-> where to explore and grow a new path diving into self
Every place brings a different kind of dynamic. Malaysia seems to be really beautiful for those who seek new meaning, or a new path, or to create something new. It seems it has that chill/relax attitude, that is expansive, if someone were to tap into that. Not just bar hop, beach visit, and be a foodie. Malaysia seems to offer that quality to those who tap into it.
5. "everything happens for a reason"
-> "you only get what you need"
There is a saying, in spirituality, "you know really get what you need". If you call a client, and they reject you. That's what you need.
There is nothing that happens that you don't need, because it didn't need to happen, so it doesn't.
Everything that happens is what you what you need.
