On this day in random cartoon history, we’ve got the Mario Bros. meeting Elivs Parsley in 1989, Slappy getting back at her critics in 1993, Timmy reuniting with his pet hamster in a heartwarming 2002 classic, the bro’Town gang going to the beach in 2006, the bro’Town gang meeting aliens in 2007, Ed Edd n Eddy’s finale movie in 2009, the climax of Total Drama’s third season in 2010, and Sonic Boom premiering in 2014. A lotta wacky stuff today, but my heart goes out to the Big Picture Show.

I’m gonna keep this day in random cartoon history short, because I’m busy. Pepelo has a hellish time in Heaven in 2007, Ezekiel finally gets the million dollars in 2010, Wander wonders about a box in 2013, and the Warriors have their first creepy fan encounter in 2016. Wander’s the clear standout of these IMO.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of New Zealand’s first animated sitcom, Bro’Town, created by The Naked Samoans & Elizabeth Mitchell. I meme on this show occasionally, but it means something to me and my channel. When we say Morningside For Life, we mean for life.

On this Day in random cartoon history, 2009 gives us Foster’s deciding to bow out with a 5 episode marathon for reasons only it understands, Sam Neill comes to Morningside and helps Mack come out of the closet, and Explosivo is born on the set of Total Drama Action. The BroTown episode would be my favourite of the day, it actually has some good episode.
