Kaminari and Bakugou on twitter

I was reading an instagram twitter au that i can't find right now but when i do i'll tell you guys but basically kaminari joked about blocking bakugou for his ✨mental health✨  so i raise you this hc:

kaminari and bakugou both have each other blocked on twitter for a while (not for that long tho) (it wasn’t over anything serious they were just being stupid)

however both of them magically know when the other is talking shit and will steal kirishima sero or mina’s phone just to argue with each other.

kaminari on sero’s phone: "talking shit about someone you have blocked is some real pussy shit b*kugou. say it to my face next time 😘"

bakugou on kirishima’s phone: "it's always you are blocked when a bitch has something to say"

they both know each other's way of texting and speaking so well that they immediately know who is talking

the first time it happened everyone got worried because they thought bakugou and kirishima were fighting.

imagine kirishima leaving his phone with kaminari after kaminari asked to use it and coming back into the common room after running an errand to a freaked out midoriya

after that they start signing their names at the end of each post

it's the most creative bakugou gets with insults (i headcanon that kaminari is one of the few people he actually puts some effort in insulting (sero, todoroki, and monoma are the others))

if kaminari wanted to he could end bakugou in one tweet but he likes the back and forth

they'll go back and forth and then eat dinner or hang out like nothing happened

the fight is never that deep it is usually over petty stupid stuff. (in my head when kaminari and bakugou fight they FIGHT)

they eventually unblock each other (kirishima thought that if they kept it up someone would get in trouble) that doesn't stop their petty arguements because it brings them a lot of joy

like sero, todoroki, monoma, kirishima, and mina (and other people in their class) will poke fun at bakugou but him and kaminari are something else at times

It really does seem that out of all the characters, Kaminari has the best intuitive understanding of Bakugou. He is really observant and seems to get him more than arguably anyone else. I feel like even Kirishima, although being an awesome friend, doesn’t understand him quite as easily. There’s usually a moment of recognition before he gets what Bakugou was going for. Idk it just seems to come to Kaminari really easily and he knows he doesn’t have to be afraid of Bakugou so he pushes him a bit

I think the “understanding Bakugou best” prize goes to Midoriya - although it’s less intuitive and more based on years of observations and analysis. 

But to me what makes Kaminari’s perspective on Bakugou really interesting is that he doesn’t put Bakugou on a pedestal like Deku and to a lesser extent Kirishima do. 

To Kaminari, Bakugou is just another dude in the class just like the others, who shouldn’t get a free pass for asshole behaviour. To him, “Kacchan” is truly a cutesy name he uses to tease him.

He doesn’t treat Bakugou as someone special who can just get out of group activities / or shouldn’t pull his weight.

He also praises Bakugou not in a way like - oh, you are so great for doing something halfway decent - but rather like - yep, dude, you are not so aweful if you try. 

And I think deep down Bakugou appreciates this. 

Kaminari also seems to be skilled in interpersonal relationship, with a keen sense of the borders of friendly pushing - when to lean in, when to pull back. Just from how he encourages Jirou about her music, pulls back when she gets distressed, but pushes again when he sees an opening. 

Also, where we are now in the anime, Kirishima and Bakugou haven’t spent much time together. Kirishima was missing classes because of the work-study then spending his evenings in supplementary classes, Bakugou was at remedial training every weekend - they probably hardly crossed paths.

So Bakugou was likely spending more time with Kaminari and Sero during this time, which explains why Kaminari would know things like the music lessons Bakugou took as a kid, but also why he would have had more chances to observe Bakugou’s change post-Deku v Kacchan 2 than Kirishima whose focus was on other things.

denki not only called katsukis personality fucking shitty twice, he also told him 'thats why everyone hates you' like two times at least, hes also found making katsuki do things from time to time like helping in the kitchen or putting the 1a t shirts, and knowing things about him no other character knew (with an exception for deku since he grew up with katsuki)

katsuki calls denki multiple names like sparky, dunce face and idiot while literally everyone else has a single nickname, but in time of need hes shown effortlessly cooperating, which was one of his biggest struggles to overcome and hes not shown working well with others until 6 arcs later

and most importantly they know, listen to each other and their temperaments match.

the only time any other character was telling at bakugou back was deku who snapped, which was depicted as an incredibly emotional moment, while denki takes at katsuki and argues with him freely.

they also appreciate each other! and support each other!

so yall know how adhd messes up your object permanence? yeah denki just forgets people or things exist outside of his sight

so imagine katsuki walking into denkis sight and denki going like '!! you exist!!! 😊😄🤗' and katsuki is fucking shook cus everyone loves him for his quirk or grades or his hard work and no one loved him just... existing in the same space as them? and maybe he starts silently crying who knows
