They all hatched!
The Every Star clutch hatched successfully over the weekend, and all impressed with minor incident. This was Gold Nebulaeth’s maiden clutch, sired by the mutation dragon Almandine Cabadath. Unfortunately none of them are up for adoption, but Gold Nornth has taken to the skies, and there will be another gold clutch soon! If you’re looking to join a site, please feel free to give us a look!
These are just the ones that I did the art for (or touch-ups), there were 12 in total!

So, in the last day or so I have caught SEVEN… brown dragons (they burn me up) in rat glue traps. I put the 4th and 5th ones in with my big snake but only made it -very- mad. It was hissing reeeally loudly at me. If you have ever heard an adult angry gopher/bullsnake hissing you know it’s impressive to hear. I put another box in there hoping it would calm down but it took quite a while. It’s laying on top of the box now. I was scraping numbers 6 and 7 in there when I decided I better not. I thought I could keep them for later for the snake, but I didn’t want to keep them around alive. So I… I killed them with water. Grisly, I won’t describe it. But I am desperate to get rid of them or I couldn't do it. Then I removed them from the glue trap covered in glue. They had ruined a bag of flour so I covered the glue with that flour, put them in plastic bags and hid them in the freezer where I put frozen snake food. “What’s for dinner?” “Breaded brown dragon sauteed in butter, and bread made with a very special flour!” “Mmm-mmm! My favorite!” Mice smell very bad, like little bags of ammonia. But these, they smell very bad in a different way, like turds. If you’ve ever had them around then you know what I mean. I forgot their smell until now. Now that I know what they are, I know by tiny sounds that there are a minimum of two more, likely at least four more, and probably many more if I include a whole other part of the house. And now I also recognize the smell in the air. Nom nom nom
I also discovered a stray cat outside. It's hungry. I have old cans of cat food still around (my cat died of cancer) so I opened one (the cat started howling but was too afraid to come near) and put it outside the door. It would be good to have an outside cat. I only saw it at night with no light but it might be a light colored longhaired cat. I have a neighbor who is nuts and hates cats. Its not safe for this cat to be around because of that neighbor.
COFFEE FAES! Experimental breeding: Much success! I'm soooo tempted to keep the first male - he's GORGEOUS - but I think i'll hold out for x/y/y, even though he is x/y/x *_*
All for sale! AH is buyout price, but feel free to crossroads me if you'd like for less. We all need some pretty coffee faes in our lair.
