"The... girl from the coffee shop? What? That's really out of left field, you know."
Monika stood before Maeve’s apartment door; a pretty small place in a less than stellar neighborhood but it’s a far cry from the slum Wool tracked her down to. If Moni listened close, she could hear some music…

"Please?"

“The leash isn’t necessary, I have my own.”
Beautiful, vibrant vines slowly creeped around Mamoru’s plump wrist and snaked their way towards Monika’s creamy throat. They removed the collar sitting pretty around her neck and embraced it themselves, coiling about until they were snug.
A small gemstone formed at the center, it shone at a dim hue of emerald green. Yet, the material itself felt like any other collar.

"Well, it's a good thing no humanity-ending events are gonna happen anytime soon, in real life." Natsuki huffed. "Can you imagine having to trust someone that stupid with your life, alongside everyone else's?"

Frankly, I'm a tad surprised at such a familiar scene. A local cafe on a warm sunny day and a gentle breeze? You even gave me money in my wallet. Well, I may as well treat myself to a nice latte while I'm here, doesn't seem to be too many people in line
At least, that was my though process before i walked through the doors. Well, that's a familiar hair style, and emerald green eyes two? A different twist on a favorite flavor, I see. Well, I seriously doubt she'll go anywhere before I say hi, so I'll just place my order first.
There. Now while that's being made, I can go introduce myself to the look-alike. I can't say mirror image in this case, can I? I've my winning smile as i wave before getting to close. "Hello there! I just love your hair. look at us, we match." It's said with a note of joviality. I can't just walk up and Talk about being two iterations of the same now, can I? who knows how aware my other is. She could be luckier then I am.
"Watermelon and some red bell pepper, ahaha~" Glug.
"Ooooh, okay. That sounds pretty tasty-?" Spalooooosh. "Feels okay, too!" Sloshy, sploosh!
After plenty of contractions, some herbal help and plenty of sore hands from Sayori's iron grip, the exhausted mother has finally finished giving birth after almost 18 hours since she got there.
Anya had scooped the little thing up out of the water when he swam up and surfaced for his first breaths, soon swaddling and handing him over to Sayori.
Blue eyes meet blue-and-purple and an instant bond is formed. Anya works on proper clean up and aftercare, Jack helps them all tend to their hands and his daughter as they can all finally relax.
And soon enough, it is time for them to gather round and meet the sweet little boy and welcome him to the world!
