nerdy bf! Heeseung usually isn’t the type to invite anyone over to his place. Whenever you and he hang out or have date night in, it’s always at yours. Your apartment is pretty small, but at least you have the entire place to yourself, unlike your boyfriend, who shares his with other people. However, one day out of the blue he decides to invite you over — for the very first time.
nerdy bf! Heeseung, who unpatiently patiently waits at his front door for your arrival. He jumps up for any faint sound that comes from behind the door, hoping that it’s you, only to fall back from disappointment, realising that it’s just his next-door neighbour coming back from his night shift.

Heeseung even went out of his way to get all of your favourite snacks and drinks, making sure to provide you with anything you needed or craved.

nerdy bf! Heeseung jumps up like a massive dog upon hearing you knock on the door. He welcomes you in with the biggest teethy smile you have ever seen on him, and before you can have a good look at the place or even take off your shoes, he pulls you into his arms. He has you tightly against his chest, and his head is placed on the nook of your neck, and you can feel his big ass cheeky smile against your warm skin. You barely have time to process whatever just happened before he starts placing small kisses against your temple “I’m glad you came”, he said before pulling away and letting you take off your shoes by the front door.
nerdy bf! Heeseung briefly shows you around the place before guiding you to his room, or his little “man cave” as he likes to call it. You blink up in surprise upon entering. You knew your boyfriend was kinda nerdy, kinda geeky and that, but you didn’t expect his room to be this filled to the brim. Every single wall was plastered with posters; his favourite musical artist, anime, manga, and polaroids of you together. The bed was full of plushies, his desk with only his gaming setup on it, and every single shelf packed with figurines and comics. How the hell can he afford this?
nerdy bf! Heeseung starts showing you around his room. He starts one-by-one explaining the lore behind every single character on his shelf and the backstory on how he got the figurines. You plopp down on his bed, trying to be supportive about his interests, but he keeps switching around and speeding up his speech, making it difficult and kinda exhausting to keep up with his blabbering.
nerdy bf! Heeseung, who quickly apologieses for draning you with his “mansplaining,” comes over to sit next to you. You try to deny and tell him to continue, but instead he’s suddenly dashing out of the room unprompted. You stand up, confused. Did you hurt him? However, as he’s by the door, he quickly urges you to sit back down. I’ll be right back, wait!
nerdy bf! Heeseung comes back with his hands behind his back. He looked oddly suspicious to you, but you reluctantly sat back down on the bed, keeping eye contact with him. And before you know it, he shoves a gift box into your hand. You open it up to find a cat plushy, an oddly similar one to the teddy bear that was next to his pillow, except his wasn’t dressed up in a tuxedo like yours; it was dressed in a white gown.
nerdy bf! Heeseung, who confesses that he got you matching plushies, so that you can think of him everytime before you go to bed. He hold eye contact with you for a split secound before looking away in flusterness. You swiftly come up to hug him, thanking him for this unexpected surprise. You stand on your tippy toes to press dozens of kisses across his flushed face in gratitude.
nerdy bf! Heeseung comes crashing down on you and onto the bed, without a second thought. Poor my melody plushies falling off the bed due to the impact. He lays on top of you and pulls you into a deep kiss. It was passionate and full of love. However, you couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of thousand of eyes sharing this intimate moment with the both of you, making Heeseung pull away some what confused. Are you laughing at me? You don’t even answer before pulling him back in with a massive grin.
