Guys, if any of you are having font issues with tumblr when you're using Chrome, it's prolly because Google decided to include Directwrite into their latest browser update. It's supposed to be a font rendering improvement. Problem is, Chrome's way ahead of the curve, but the websites it's trying to load aren't. I guess that's the simplest way to put it, because I'm browsing BBC's sports corner, and it looks like crap.
So to fix this shit, follow these steps:
Type "chrome://flags" in the omnibox.
Look for Disable DirectWrite.
Then enable it.
Relaunch Chrome.
If 1-4 don't work, disable Disable DirectWire, and pray that Google fixes the problem for you.
Follow these steps at your own risk. I'll try to figure out a better solution later but for now, this should do.
