YES THANK YOU ABOUT THE BARSTOOL SPORTS THING!! Like I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that. Honestly for me if a guy is super into Barstool it’s like an immediate red flag for me 🚩 I know that sounds dramatic lol but like a certain type of people enjoy Barstool’s content and that’s not someone I want to like or be friends with soz

If you don't mind me asking, what/who exactly is barstool sports? And what exactly have they done wrong? /gen

Recently this piece came out from Business Insider about their founder.

They're also known for being racist/misogynist/using slurs. And basically being the scum of male sports culture. Just search barstool and racism or misogyny and there's lots to find. Again most things I post can be found easily with a quick google search.

Pardon My Take is absolutely Barstool. It takes zero seconds to find out they are trash. They're not an F1 podcast, their first F1 guest was Daniel (then Horner) ppl just gotta stop licking their boots. Signed, woman who gets harassed by Barstool for working in sport.

1000% their fan base is awful, I didn’t even tweet the actual name out once and they still came after me which. There are numerous articles detailing how awful they and their CEO are, they’re the worst part of sport/male culture. I dunno how no one has told Daniel or Horner they’re trash, but you know F1.

As if anything that comes out of barstool don't share all the same fans🙄 it doesn't matter if it's grown into its own entity to sustain itself out of barstool. it's all very much the same culture with the same type of fans and it all connects back to barstool and all these entities gladly associate with it regardless of how they grow
