i think in canon compliant Bruabbache I'm gonna take a letter from Caithe Guildwars. When Crocche becomes capo of Neapolis she takes Bruno's hairstyle and combines it with the alt clothing style she and Leone shared. A way to carry both of them with her, but also remind her what she fights for. What a good capo does.

thinking about Crocche... team bucci self insert who's in a triad with Leone and Bruno. Thinking about how I never actually made an introduction for her... so hey. here we go. kinda.

Keep in mind this is a little ramble-y and definitely a loose intro for her.

Crocche doesn't have a family as far as she knows. She doesn't remember if she had any siblings or cousins or... Any of it. She never found her family after she was freed from Ricotta, she spent too much of it just trying to survive. Getting swept up in Passione young just like Bruno was.

Like how Purple Haze can be read as Fugo's rage and hatred and lashing out at everyone around him, Starset can be read as Crocche just wanting the nightmare she was in at the time to end. To just stop. The stars were all she could see to make the nightmare feel bearable, staring up out the window and dissociating.

Ricotta was a horrific capo. He made a lot of money for Passione, that can't be understated. But his methods crossed several lines. Crocche was only one of hundreds of victims. Of children he hurt. She was one of only seven that survived another capo doing something about it.

Crocche's mastery of her stand comes at a cost. A star, in all senses of the word. Danger and beauty incarnate. A star is dense, with a gravitational pull. A star is radioactive. A star can explode in a burst of elements. A star can turn into a black hole, absorbing everything around it.

And she knows this. But when she explodes her stand- when Starset goes supernova- it affects her. She can hold the black hole, but not forever. She will lose consciousness. Like how Purple Haze must be held for the right situation, as must the supernova. Starset will take days, maybe a week, to recover. And in that time, Crocche is helpless as far as Passione is concerned.

Crocche has seen the horrors of man. She's seen the worst of humanity, of no choice of her own. She was forced into it by a man that cared only to make the highest profit quickly. She was saved from it by another capo with a simple moral code. Do whatever the hell you want for this syndicate. Just don't touch kids. She gained her stand the night she was freed. Six other kids did too.

Not all of them could cope with the horrors. Crocche managed. She managed to survive, to find a family. To fall in love. To trust people with the knowledge of her past.
