idk that much about Hsu, but hes the only high ranking NCR guy in fnv that i dont want to throw rocks at. so i liked drawing him!!!

i hope he gets some rest at some point, he seems like he could use it.

I admire his loyalty to the NCR and his reliability. He's wise enough to prefer diplomacy to violence, so he gets my approval lol.

- Least favorite thing about them

The fact that he hasn't been promoted to General yet. He's definitely too kind to ask for it, but he definitely deserves it more than Oliver (F)lee in my opinion.

- Favorite line

Courier: You seem calm given that things are as bad as they are.

Hsu: Calm is what you have to be when people look to you. And it's all you can be when things are out of your hands.

(Hands down one of my favorites lines in the game)

I bet Boyd and him could be good friends, even if he sighs every time she jokes about beating up some Legion soldiers lol

Hsu and Ambassador Crocker honestly, hahaha. They see eye to eye on lots of things and they both like to handle conflicts peacefully.

Legion Ending. When Colonel Hsu is betrayed by Captain Curtis who is a Legion spy. Thank you so much! (Bonus +++ for Angst)! 😉

I’m here for it! Here’s how I think that’d go...

“It’s over.”

Colonel James Hsu’s voice carried no hints of distress - calm, he reminded himself, he had to stay calm for the men - just finality. With a weighty sigh, he rose from his desk, not even bothering to silence the radio’s hissing static. Up until a few moments ago, it’d been broadcasting updates from the Dam, but now... dead air.

Hsu wasn’t an idiot. He knew what that meant. Trying his best to compose himself, he gave Lieutenant Boyd a nod over his shoulder, sending her hurrying out of the office. There were preparations to be made, after all- the Legate wouldn’t stop until he’d reached Vegas proper, and McCarran was in the way. With the monorail, at least, the base would have had time to begin evacuation, get out ahead of the Legion- but with it inoperable after that saboteur...

He was acutely aware of footsteps behind him. 

“Boyd, I gave you very specific orders. The Legion isn’t going to just-”

“It’s not Boyd. Sir.”

Indeed it was not. Hsu swiveled, ready to scold whatever trooper was neglecting their duties, and found himself face to face with Captain Ronald Curtis. It was immediately apparent that something wasn’t right- Curtis hadn’t knocked, he looked a little too casual for their imminent defeat and crucifixion, Hsu had ordered every officer to their station...

...and Curtis was clutching a silenced .22. His heart sank.

“Curtis-”

He barely had time to think. Curtis raised the pistol, squeezing the trigger twice with the satisfied air of someone finally getting to do something they’d dreamed about for a very long time.

“It’s Picus. Sir.”

I'd like to say yes, but at the same time I'm very open to the idea of moving in somewhere nice alone, for the rest of my life and with at least 3 cats if possible lol. This is just in case I change my mind about settling down and stuff lol, I enjoy being single too after all ^^

I'm just imagining the scene, but with Boyd thinking "oh my god, he's just explained how he's a totally deranged individual who'd love to see me with a collar around my neck. If only I could punch his face till all his teeth fall off... Alright I've made up my mind, I desire him carnally now". Just ewww...

Uhm. I admit Benny's got a point in stealing the Platinum Chil from Mr. House and his plan was quite well-thought-out, with Emily Ortal programming Yes Man and all. But what a shame, we survived and upset his apple cart :D
