original melody I composed this morning, I took my first anti depressant yesterday and the side effects were kicking in at 3AM and I genuinely wanted to die. I took a cold shower and cried on the floor, I felt like I was drowning in void. music is my lifeline so I pulled out my synth and started playing a melody (transmuting energy) and completed mixing and adding ambience from my window sil. I’ve been playing it all morning and I hope that the calm it brings to my spirit is even greater in whoever decides to listen.
Prior to recording I was listening to my favorite song “#19” by Aphex Twin, I find that as both a producer and scholar of music that I get overwhelmed by listening to music with words. I ended up interpolating it with my own touch & I haven’t even played the original since #lol
Interpolation starts @ 5:40
Music like this heals wounds only a mother could touch, hence the title.
enjoy & happy Mother’s Day.
