What's your take on a brunch reception? Too casual? Or perfectly cozy? As long as there's a mimosa bar as charming as this one, count us in! We wouldn't mind a few pancakes either...

Chic Brunch
Brunches are an inexpensive and laid-back option for receptions. But just because brunch is a little more laid-back, doesn't mean it's can't still be chic. A first course of fresh fruits or a light shrimp dish for a morning or early-afternoon wedding. Light, snappy flavors lend a festive touch to a brunch reception without being too overwhelming. For the main course (served best buffet style), a choice of omelets or Belgian waffles gives guests the chance to enjoy a classic breakfast. One cool thing about brunch is that dessert (french pastries, scones, fruit-filled danishes) can be served whenever you'd like, or the guests would like if it's a buffet style.
