Brunning Sunflower Blues Band - Uranus [1969] Bob Brunning. Who? Exactly. Bob Brunning's claim to fame is the fact that he was the bassist for the original Fleetwood Mac, playing alongside Peter Green. When he left Fleetwood Mac, he started his own project, Brunning Sunflower Blues Band. He released a couple of solid blues albums and amongst them was this awesome instrumental. Brunning, naturally, steps up on the bass - and very groovily so - whilst Peter Green himself is brought back to be heard providing the excellent blues guitar on this track. It's blues porn, really.
