Mmmm I just want to go picnicking with Bruno or GioGio or Doppio and just like we could have a fruitcake and lemonade on a soft checkered blanket; and we can just cuddle in the sun and make daisy chains 🥺 - 🎨

This!! Sunny afternoons spent cloudgazing and sharing homemade snacks and drinks with the mafiosos live in my mind rent free! I miss going on picnics! They’re so fun!

Bruno would be a wonderful picnic pal — he assists you in packing a lunch for the two of you that is both nutritious AND delicious! He takes you on a short hike to this gorgeous spot near a waterfall where the sounds of the rushing water and the babbling brook are easily heard but still quiet enough that the sound isn’t overbearing. You don’t have to worry about the journey there being arduous nor a cause for stress! Bruno simply zips your picnic supplies away for the duration of your hike, yet if you grow weary still, he won’t mind carrying you!

Giorno feels content and in his element outside in nature, and to be able to share that with you? He is overjoyed! He conjures up beautiful, immortal flowers and adorns them in your hair, one behind your ear, another made into a bracelet, etc... But if you were to make him a flower crown or pluck a wildflower from the meadow and place it in his hair, he would be ecstatic! Giorno isn’t the best baker, but he does try and share his homemade fruitcake with you. Maybe next time you can give him a few tips?

I can just picture Doppio leading you to a secluded area on the beach, sun umbrella in one hand and a large beach blanket in the other. Strapped to his back is a cooler with all of your snacks and drinks and the rest of the picnic supplies; don’t worry about him, he’s stronger than he looks! He’s glad to let you in on his ‘secret’ recipe from strawberry lemonade that he learned from the boss. You can taste the sweet tang on his lips when you go in to kiss him, it’s sugary-sour like him.

i know it isn’t the healthiest coping mechanism, but... it helped me so maybe it’ll help someone else :’)

been feeling super low these last few days so i wrote a comfort scenario with bruno to try and cheer myself up a bit

♡ Bruno Comforting the Reader During A Bad Day ♡

Bruno holds you in such high regard — you’re so strong and independent and capable! But, you can also be so incredibly stubborn and guarded. He understands not wanting to dwell on negative thoughts and emotions, as he can empathize with the sudden, crashing feeling that comes from letting your mind linger too long onto those dark past events that you’d rather not confront.

“You can always talk to me, amore, I’ll never judge you — I’ll always love you, from now and even after forever. You shouldn’t let your mistakes define you, piccola,” He opens his arms, ready to wrap them around you and squeeze you tightly with no intention to let you go. “It’s okay to forget things every now and then, and if you would like me to, I’d be happy to help you by reminding you and going over your schedule with you. Oh, amore, shhh, there’s no shame in asking for help!”

He temporarily pauses his reassuring little pep talk to bury his nose in your hair, tenderly nuzzling your scalp, peppering a barrage of sweet kisses there. You’re sobbing into his suit, and all he wants is to hold you until he can soak up every ounce of pain and hurt and fear like a sponge and ease you of your suffering; though, he knows it doesn’t work like that, but in the meantime he’s more than happy to continue to talk you through your anxieties.

He reminds you of all of the wonderful aspects of you that he loves, listing off his favorite qualities in your personality and praising you on your talents and accomplishments. Bruno then recounts his favorite memories, grinning to himself when he hears a muffled giggle from where your face is now buried in his neck.

“You’re far from broken, my baby,” he coos, slowly and carefully leading you to the sofa so that he can sit you in his lap. “I love you so much, ah, there are those pretty eyes, and that gorgeous face, bella!”

Your eyes are red and puffy from crying, dried tears caked to your damp skin, and you can only imagine how you must look, but when you hear his soft voice and meet his deep blues, you’d think that he was speaking to the most beautiful person in the world.

“Thank you,” you mumble, averting your gaze, feeling suddenly small and embarrassed, and he knows how vulnerable you are still in this moment, so he doesn’t try to get you to make eye contact or point out your embarrassment, he’s learned from experience that all you really need is some love and affection, lest you try to build that wall back up again.

Bruno holds you until you fall asleep, running his fingers through your tresses and humming a comforting old melody. He really does admire you, and even during low moments like these, he has complete and utter faith that you’ll get back up on your feet again, and maybe this time it won’t hurt to have a little help.
