The Disappearance of Bruno Borges

24 years old Bruno Borges was reported missing on March 27th, 2017 by his parents. His parents say that Bruno became extremely obsessed with the existence of aliens. He locked himself in his room for 22 days, bought a giant statue of Giordano Bruno, a 16th century philosopher who insisted on the existence of aliens, and covered his room with encrypted writing and symbols.

His parents were traveling and when they returned they discovered his room was completely transformed and their son was missing. All he left for them was a key to his room and 14 books he had written in code. His parents say he is an extremely bright kid who is studying psychology and that they are very puzzled by his disappearance and hope he returns safely.

Police are investigating his disappearance. He was last seen on a CCTV running towards the direction of his home.

hey! im brazilian n i can help with borges' case!!! so he came back out of the blue a few days after his book went to sales and sold 20k so far. however, police investigatiom from three months ago already

show that everything was a marketing strategy!! what we know so far: he paid an artist R$10k for that statue with a R$20k loan he got from a cousin. this cousin and two of his other friends, though, at the time of his disappearance, had already registered sheets that made sure all of them would get a small percentage from the books sales. in intercepted messages, they were bragging to each other about how “rich they would become”

also, borges’ parents have said already that for a period of 20 days, those two friends helped him with the room decor and such. one of them was actually indiciated by police for giving fake testimonies!! whats odd is just the way the family handled his disappearance, since his parents seemed to know about what was going on all along. regardless, his parents said only that their son is not staying with them anymore but is back safely. we were all played thats for sure!!

Thank you for sharing the “inside” story of Bruno Borges! To the person who previously asked, here seems to be pretty much what happened. I hope that all the people that was biting their nails about this case feels a bit of outrage at being played like this!

A week after that, his mother, psychologist Denise Borges, spoke exclusively to the G1, showing a series of reasons that lead to believe that the case is not just another disappearance of person.

The conventional lunch with the family, on Monday, was the last time relatives saw him. Denise says he came home and everyone went about their normal work day. Later, the father returned to the family home in Rio Branco and realized that his son was not there.

Behind the door of the room, kept for almost a month locked in place of furniture, a statue of the philosopher Giordano Bruno (1548-1600), for whom he has great admiration, estimated at R $ 7 thousand, and 14 books extremely organized, Written by hand. Brazilian Student Disappears Leaving Behind a Room Covered in Coded Texts and Occult Symbols.  

A Brazilian student has mysteriously disappeared, leaving behind a locked room covered in encrypted texts, 14 handwritten books and a massive statue of occultist Giordano Bruno.

Bruno Borges, a 24-year-old student from Brazil, reportedly vanished on March 27th after completing a secretive project consisting of thousands of pages of encrypted texts combined with mysterious symbols. Along with references to the Bible, alchemy, demonology and Leonardo da Vinci, Borges left a bizarre painting of him with an alien – prompting some people to conclude that he was … abducted by aliens.

Borges was reportedly asking people to invest in his secretive project without disclosing any information about it. He told his mother he was writing 14 books that would change humanity in a good way. After receiving $6500 (R$20.000) from his cousin, he was able to finish his project. Full Article
