Sandbox Tree (aka Dynamite Tree)
The Sandbox Tree (Hura Crepitans) grows primarily in South America, the Amazon rain-forest and certain parts of North America.
This tree is completely dangerous. The pumpkin shaped fruit it grows causes (upon consumption) vomiting, diarrhea and cramps. The sap from the tree is toxic and was once used to poison the tips of darts for combat. It can also cause blindness if it comes into contact with the eye.
The really cool (and also dangerous) thing about this tree is how the fruits explode. When they’re ripe, the hardened seed capsules explode and send flat, hard seeds over a 60 feet radius at 150 MPH (~240 KPH).

Giant Hogweed
This plant was originally introduced to the United States as an ornamental garden plant, Giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum). It has been federally classified as a noxious weed.
It is an invasive species that has spread throughout many states in the Eastern and Northwestern United States, including New York, threatening native species, causing soil erosion and posing a threat to humans with phototoxins in its sap.
It can grow up to 14 feet, has lobbed leaves up to 5 ft wide, large white umbal flower clusters up to 2 feet wide, sprouts in spring, blooms in summer, and grows in rich moist soil.
Skin that comes into contact with the sap becomes extremely sensitive to sunlight, resulting in burns that cause severe, painful blisters and scarring. Sap in the eyes can cause blindness. Contact with the bristles on the stem or broken leaves and plant parts exposes you to the dangerous Giant Hogweed sap.

Jeweled Skeletons
The jeweled skeletons were originally found in catacombs beneath Rome in 1578, and distributed as replacements under the belief they were Christian martyrs to churches who had lost their saint relics in the Reformation.
Most of the skeleton’s identities were unknown. The churches spent years covering the revered skeletal strangers with jewels and golden clothing, even filling their eye sockets and sometimes adorning their teeth with jewels. The skeletons were ultimately hidden away during the enlightenment because they represented excess and the churches were embarrassed about how much money was spent on them.

I told my friend today that Kars4kids wasn't a charity for needy children and it blew his mind so I figured you guys would wanna know this too.
Not only is Kars4kids not a charity for needy children, it's actually an organization with deep ties to Israel. Specifically it's linked to Oorah in Israel. If you're unfamiliar with Oorah the only thing you need to know about them is that they'll fund trips to Israel for youth groups/students looking to take a gap year in Israel and contribute to the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
K4k sends 60% of the money they receive to Oorah and the rest goes back into marketing. They even spent like $20 million on real estate purchases in Israel.
They just got banned from advertising in California because of how they have mislead donors. Anyway if you didn't know now you know.
Uhm excuse me what!?!?
And this is their mascot...
This feels so wrong...

Anatoly Moskvin
A well respected (or was well respected) Russian historian and cemetery explorer dug up the corpses of 29 children and turned them into dolls.
Anatoly Moskvin kept these “dolls” in the bedroom of the flat he shared with his parents. He would dress them in stockings, knee length boots, put lipstick on them and he would even put music boxes in their rig cages.
A mother of one of the girls (Olga age 10) – said that she would had no idea she was visiting an empty grave. She even says that they would find strange anonymous notes on Olga’s grave. “These sick anonymous notes were addressed to my daughter, calling her ‘Little Lady’.”
Anatoly Moskvin was caught of course. He said he was keeping the bodies until science found a way to bring them back to life. He was decreed to ill to face trial and sent to a psychiatric hospital.

Israel passed a death penalty law that will allow them to execute Palestinian detainees many of which have been detained without due process and many of which were kids when they were detained.
This is the equivalent to camp executions the Nazis did. It's exactly the same thing
This death penalty law doesn't apply to Israelis of course because Israel is a violent apartheid
The Bill's Wording Creates a Distinction Designating It Almost Exclusively for Palestinian Terror, While the Ideological Burden of Proof It
Israel's Knesset passed a bill on Monday mandating the death penalty for Palestinians convicted of deadly acts of terrorism. The bill stipulates that the death penalty will be imposed on a terrorist who killed a person "with the intent to deny the existence of the State of Israel."
In doing so, the bill's wording creates a distinction designating it almost exclusively for Palestinian terror, while the ideological burden of proof it sets is expected to make its application to Jewish nationalist terror nearly impossible.
Sixty-two lawmakers voted in favor of the contentious bill, including several opposition members; 48 voted against it, and one abstained. The law is now applicable in any territory that Israel functionally controls, including the West Bank and 53 percent of the Gaza Strip.
They literally started popping bottles and drinking champagne immediately after voting on this btw. And they were all wearing little golden pins on their lapels shaped like nooses.
Even just saying that sounds like ham-fisted antisemitic propaganda, but it's genuinely just stating facts.
You can't see it clearly in the above picture where this modern day Nazi is celebrating the new law allowing him to murder more Palestinians but he's wearing a golden noose pin. Along with the other Zionazis in attendance
The Black Phooka
The black Phooka is a shape-shifting creature from old Celtic mythology. It is a benign but mischievous creature. Their normal appearance is similar to that of a cat (its tail will twitch when its angry much like a cat), but this creature can take the form of horses, goats, cats, dogs, hares and even humans. No matter what shape they take, their fur is always dark.
They mostly prefer to take the form of a pony and will try to entice humans to take a ride on their back. If a someone does get on, they will give the rider a wild and terrifying journey before dropping the unlucky person back at the place they were taken from.
While they’re mostly mischievous creatures, they’re also known to be benevolent and will help farmers with their harvest and field work. Due to this, they are associated with Samhain, a Goidelic harvest festival.
The character Puck from A Midsummer Night’s Dream is based off of this creature.

Oscar, The Cat that Predicts Death
Oscar has been working at Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Centerin Providence, RI for the past decade or so. In 2005 Oscar was brought to Steere House to serve as a therapy cat in hopes that he would help cheer up the residents at Steere. He was descirbed as generally aloof and “not a cat that’s friendly to people”, sometimes hissing at people when he wanted to be left alone.
He generally kept to himself and would often be found hiding under beds or in the storage closet, except when someone was close to death.
After about 6 months of Oscar being at Steere, the staff noticed that Oscar would choose to cuddle up/nap next to residents who died just hours after his visit.
Joan Teno, a physician at Steere House, clarified that “it’s not that the cat is consistently there first. But the cat always does manage to make an appearance, and it always seems to be in the last two hours.“
After Oscar accurately predicted 25 deaths, staff started calling family members of residents as soon as they discovered him sleeping next to someone in order to notify them and give them an opportunity to say goodbye before the impending death. As of 2015, it was noted that Oscar had predicted over 100 deaths.
Oscar is so good at what he does that Dr. David Dosa, a health researcher at Brown University and a geriatrician working with patients at the Steere House, actually wrote an entire book( Making Rounds with Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat )about it.
While there is no concrete explanation as to how Oscar predicts these deaths, one theory is that Oscar is picking up on the lack of movement in such patients or that he can smell biochemicals released by dying cells.
