What brush(es) do you use to ink Misfit City? I love watching your inking videos and the brushes you use seem to have a really nice weight to them

Hey, there! I use the Go Gritty set (I believe this one is Go Gritty 2) from Kevin J Stanton’s old Inkbox drawing set for Photoshop.

sorry for such a late response hsknd i use a lot of really random brushes, but I mostly stick to the default HB pencil on procreate + jingsketch basic brush pack (edge control, sharp render, round render, flat square, soft brush grain)

some other brushes:

mateusz urbanowicz sketching procreate brush set and painting set (matt’s painting (main), matt’s painting (hard shape), matt’s pencil 01)

grain brushes

a ton of random halftone brushes from various sites :v i’ve lost track of where they come from bc I shove them all under the same folder lmao (i usually just search for free halftone/ screentone brushes)

sorry if this is a noob question but when i clicked on the file, it opened photoshop but the brushes aren't there. how do i install them?

It's not a dumb question! Photoshop makes it kind of hard to find these options if you don't know what you're looking for.

When you open the Brush panel, there's a little arrow in the upper-right corner; click that and then select "Load Brushes." Then you'll be able to find the ABR file in your downloads folder or wherever you've saved it, and open them up!

Alternatively, you can get to the same drop-down menu directly from the Brush Presets window if you keep it open all the time like I do:

These options are very handy for saving and reloading brushes, so you can have only the ones you need open, and don't have to scroll through a hundred sparkle brushes to find the one you need!
