Aladar: *scoffs* The tell him. What’s the worst he can do?

*growls are heard*

Baylene: Oh!

*Url quickly moved out of the way as Kron, Bruton and Neera pass by*

*Bruton snorts*

*Kron snorts at Aladar as he passes by*

Aladar: Hey!

Aladar: What’s his problem?

Eema: That’s him, honey… Kron.

Aladar: huh.

*Aladar approaches Kron*

Aladar: Uh, excuse me! Kron! Ya got a second?

*Kron stops and turns his head to Aladar*

Bruton: Get lost, kid!

Kron: Hm. Relax, Bruton.

*Bruton becomes quiet as Kron approaches Aladar*

Kron: Who are you?

Aladar: Uh… Aladar.

Kron: Why aren’t you uphill with the—?

*Kron sees Yar, Suri, Plio and Zini waving hello to him*

Kron: Um, young bloods?

*Kron snorts at the lemurs*

Aladar: Well, I was back here, talking to these guys.

Aladar: I guess they— they’re having a hard time keeping up.

Aladar: So you know, maybe you can… slow it down a bit.

*Neera chuckles a little*

Kron: *sarcastically* Hm. Let the weak set the pace?

Kron: Now there’s an idea.

Kron: Better let me do the thinking from now on, Aladar.

*Kron turns around and heads off*

Aladar: Hey. They need help back here.

*Kron turns his head to Aladar one last time*

Kron: Watch yourself, boy.

Disney’s Dinosaur (2000): lake scene - part 1

*after several days of non-stop traveling through the desert...*

*Kron and Bruton realize where they are*

*so they let out bellowing to signal the herd*

*Neera hears it and rushes to where Kron and Bruton are*

*everyone else in the herd hears it too, including Aladar and his friends and family*

Eema: *knowing where they are* the lake!

Yar: We made it?

Eema: it’s just over that... that hill, baby.

Baylene: *relieved* oh, thank goodness. 

Aladar: C’mon, Eema, water. Remember water?

Eema: *eager* well, it’s time to refresh... my memory.

*the herd heads up the hill*

*Kron and two juvenile Iguanodon reach near the top*

*Kron reaches the top...*

*and sees...*

*nothing but a dried up lakebed... and not a single drop of water in sight*

*Kron is quite shocked*

*as Kron walks down to get a closer look, Neera and Bruton reach the top*

*and when Bruton and Neera do reach the top, they too see the dried lake*

*the two are soon followed by rest the herd, and they also see the dried up lake and are shocked... though Eema is unaware of it... for now*

Eema: *giggles happily* I’m just gonna walk right into that lake...

*Aladar also sees the dried up lake, and is quite shocked along with the rest of the herd*

Eema: ... until the water’s up to my eyeballs...

Eema: ... and soak it all in.

*Eema finally sees the lake is nothing but a dried lakebed*

Eema: *sighs sadly*

*at this point, everyone in the herd sees the dried up lake, and they wonder what to do*

Disney’s Dinosaur (2000): lake scene - part 2

*as Kron looks at the dried up lake, he is quite unsure about what to do. However, Bruton appears beside Kron*

Bruton: Maybe the rains collected somewhere else.

*Bruton turns to Kron*

Bruton: What do you want us to do?

Kron: Take a scout and check the entire perimeter.

*Bruton accepts and heads off to get a scout*

*as Bruton leaves, Kron hears whimpering*

*the two juvenile Iguanodon are sadly whimpering because there’s no water*

Kron: Enough!

*this surprises the two juveniles*

Kron: You have to be strong now.

Kron: *turns to the herd* The nesting grounds are only a few days away. Keep moving!

*several members of the herd groan, tired from a several-day-long and non-stop travel, not to mention very thirsty... but they follow their alpha’s orders nonetheless*

Neera: Kron, we’ve never gone this long without water.

Neera: If we keep going like this, we’ll loose half the herd.

Kron: Then we save the half that deserves to live.

*Kron bellows*

Neera: (grrrrr... he just does NOT get it!)

*Kron gives out a few more bellows to the herd*

*with the herd moving already, this surprises Baylene*

Baylene: What? They’re moving already?

Baylene: Oh-ho, we’ll never keep up...

*a voice catches Baylene’s attention*

???: There was always...

*it was Eema, who was saddened by the absence of water and is walking down the hill into the dried lakebed*

Eema: ...always water here before.

Just because he's fab and I always wondered, what he might looked like when he was the same age as Aladar in the movie. For the first sketch I used a Camptosaurus picture from Julio Lacerda as reference.
