I wanted to ask if you’d be comfortable writing headcanons (or a fic) featuring a motherly, gentle, caretaking S/O — someone who is deeply nurturing and protective, especially toward children, but who also genuinely cares for other groups and people around them.
A key part of the dynamic is that the S/O is also quietly manipulative in a subtle, non-villainous way — guiding others, influencing decisions, and steering situations out of a desire to protect, maintain safety, and keep things from falling apart rather than to harm. Their care is sincere, even if their methods are morally gray.
If possible, I’d also love for their vital instrument to be part of the Watchman series, such as jewelry (a ring, necklace, bracelet, etc.) that plays an important role in how they observe, guide, or protect others.
For character dynamics:
Platonic interactions with Rudo and Amo
Romantic dynamics with Zodyl and Enjin and also tamsy if possible
And if you feel inspired, you’re absolutely welcome to include any other characters you think would fit well with this S/O
No pressure at all, and please feel free to adjust anything to fit your comfort level or writing style. I really admire your work and thought this concept would suit it beautifully.
Sorry this is a bit long — thank you so much for taking the time to read it! ♡

In which the Cleaners/Raiders have something of a 'dorm mother' who looks out for them.

Amo
✦ ── The moment Amo meets you, she senses that you're someone who would protect her. She gets really clingy right off the hook and sticks to your side wherever you go in HQ.
✦ ── Please treat her like your own, because she loves it! Anytime you take care to brush her hair, fix up her clothes, or fret over her health, she feels really nice and adored.
✦ ── In return, Amo is really protective of you. If someone says something mean, then she is prone to lashing out. She holds grudges until they apologize to you, too! God forbid someone try to hurt you.
✦ ── You owning apart of the Watchman series just means you two are a lot alike! Clearly you have some missing pieces like she does, so she knows you understand how she truly feels.
✦ ── It isn't likely that she would realize you manipulate your way into keeping her or others safe. If someone ever brought it up, she wouldn't be upset. You never did it to hurt anyone, so what does it matter?
"Amo really likes this hairstyle!" She did a quick twirl, the ends of the bow ribbons in her hair following her movements.
You'd just finished brushing it out and styling it for her, since it seemed to keep getting in her face.
Her hand moved up to one of her now detangled strands, curling it around her finger to feel how soft it was. You'd really outdone yourself! She felt like a real princess.
"Okay! Now it's Amo's turn to do yours!"
Enjin
✦ ── If he's the shitty adoptive father doing his best, you're the perfect image of a caring mother who can't seem to fail. Honestly, he's envious of how much the others respect you. Why don't they treat him that way? Damn brats.
✦ ── But all that jealousy easily turns to pride because you're his partner. His amazing, insanely talented, and wonderfully beloved partner. Damn right everyone likes you!
✦ ── Seeing you all cutesy with the kids, especially those on Akuta, makes him melt. They all trust you a lot, and you care for them in ways he isn't really sure how to provide—mainly emotionally.
✦ ── Does it worry him that you own apart of the Watchman series and he still doesn't know what it does? Yes. But he trusts you with its power, whatever that may be.
✦ ── When he does find out your instrument allows you to manipulate and sway people, he is a bit uncomfortable with the idea. But after seeing it in use, at his request, he understands you would never abuse its power. Still, he urges you to rely on it less. You're good at what you do without it, anyway.
"Tch. Damn brats." Enjin scoffed under his breath, watching as Riyo and Rudo walked away from you. They'd interrupted your date just to see you and didn't so much as spare him a glance.
But seeing you so giddy, even after they left, made him forget any frustration bubbling up.
His frown turned to a grin when you shot him a look, scratching the back of his head. Shame? Nah. He wasn't afraid to let you know it bothered him.
"I'm locking the damn door. No more interruptions."
Rudo
✦ ── Any act of affection you show him overwhelms him. From anything small, like bringing him snacks when he hasn't eaten yet, to washing his gloves for him so it doesn't hurt as much, it all leaves him speechless.
✦ ── Lashes out at pretty much everyone except for you. More often than not he's staring at the floor and mumbling when you talk to him because he's worried he might scare you away.
✦ ── But he warms up eventually the more you talk him into it. He's more than willing to talk about his missions with you and goes to you for advice on reaching out to others a lot. When he isn't sure what to say to someone, he tries to think of what you'd say.
✦ ── You having apart of the series is both an opportunity for him to learn something about his own gloves and to have someone who can actually guide him through their use. He's really thankful he can go to you for help understanding the series—even if your knowledge is limited, too.
✦ ── Never suspects you might be manipulating others, and wouldn't believe anyone who claimed it. He dismisses those things quickly. They're just upset that you're well-liked and give such amazing advice.
"Thanks again. Y'know, for encouraging me to talk to them about it." Rudo had caught you in the hall and was now helping carry some of the books you were returning to the library of HQ.
Helping you, especially with stuff like carrying heavy things, made him feel stronger.
Even after you'd finished dropping everything off and began your next task, he stuck by your side. Mostly silent, listening to you talk to others and fidgeting with his gloves.
Words weren't needed. You'd look back at him like you expected him to be following you, and that was all the confirmation he needed to know you weren't annoyed by it.
Tamsy
✦ ── Your constant doting on others is certainly a draining task, and yet it never seems to affect you. For that, Tamsy is impressed. Though he doesn't much appreciate how you undo a lot of his work on Rudo (who he now tries to keep away from you whenever possible).
✦ ── When it's aimed at him, however? Oh, does he ever melt. Being the centre of your attention is an honour. He doesn't openly flaunt that he is your one and only, but he does act pretty smug about it when it comes up.
✦ ── Especially enjoys how much intel on others you have. You don't often share anything overly sensitive with him, but he still learns a lot about the other Cleaners from you, especially those that don't like him as much.
✦ ── Your vital instrument being among the Watchmen series is certainly a shock. Since you keep it a secret and only tell him, he promises not to share that information. He's just glad you own it, of all people.
✦ ── You? Manipulating? Of course, he knew all along! But you do it out of love and care, which he understands. Though he knows you have nothing insidious to hide. It's clear you genuinely want the best for others.
"Would you like a hand with that?" He seemed to magically appear at your side whenever you needed him, anticipating your needs before you.
The beads wrapped around your waist several times over kept tangling and snagging on your shirt, which made it much too obvious you were wearing them to begin with.
The watchman logo painted on the inside of every tiny little bead wasn't too obvious, but you rather keep it hidden than not.
His hand got to work, plenty skilled with detangling his own yarn. The blond took his time on purpose, allowing his hands to graze your skin more than needed.
"There we go, all better." You were always so busy caring for others; it was the least he could do considering what you'd sacrifice for him.
Zodyl
✦ ── You are total opposites. His stoic, almost absent-minded nature contradicts your open, engaged self. But that is why he has you on the Raiders; you supply to the team what he cannot.
✦ ── Be gentle with him all you like. He doesn't outwardly respond to a lot of it, but that is evidence enough that he enjoys it. He lets you touch his hair, hell, even his jacket, without a word or movement of complaint.
✦ ── He does think you are a bit too nurturing to the softer souls, such as Fu. If it weren't for you, he'd throw the kid into more head-on danger to try and scare him into action. Regardless, your methods may be slow, but they are still effective.
✦ ── Of course you have a piece of the Watchmen series; it was one of the many reasons he sought you out. It's also what allows you to get close to him in the first place. He needs you for his experiments, and now he's learned to need you for purely selfish reasons.
✦ ── Manipulate away. He had an inkling you were doing it, but he never bothered to give it much thought. Your methods support the Raiders and him, so why would it matter how you do it?
"What are you doing?" His lulled voice broke the silence, though he didn't move a muscle and kept his eyes trained forwards.
All he caught was your sheepish smile and shrug from the corner of his eye. You were adjusting the ties around his jacket sleeves. Admittedly, it felt a lot more comfortable.
When you mumbled something about his awful blood circulation, he looked away.
"It feels better, yes."
Author's Note ── 'Tamsy if possible' ALWAYS. ALWAYS POSSIBLE. I LOVE HIM.
Thank you for requesting! I hope this suited what you were looking for <3 I think you really picked up on what I write best; this is way up my alley!
May or may not have jumped like 5 requests to do this one first because I liked it so damn much
I saw that you write familial stuff which is honestly becoming way too rare these days so could you do Zanka, Enjin, Follo, Amo & Momoa with a gn!reader that they end up seeing as their sibling over time and how it got to that point/what they do together now, please?
Gachiakuta [x Reader]
In which life on the ground is tough when you're alone, so you take them in as your little sibling.
Characters ── Amo | Enjin | Follo | Momoa | Zanka
Reader is ── Gender Neutral | Cleaner/Civilian
Story is ── Platonic | Headcanons
Warnings ── Manga spoilers
Amo
✦ ── Adjusting to joining the Cleaners is hard for someone who has spent so much of her life locked away. She needed a mentor, someone not only she but others trusted.
✦ ── A lot of the others said you were rough around the edges but trustworthy. You took her under your wing before she ever decided who she should look up to.
✦ ── Amo relies a lot on you for social cues. Who she should trust, what it means to be a cleaner, and how to really act like a kid again. You always tell her she grew up too fast, but she always feels like a kid when she's safe with you.
✦ ── She tells you absolutely everything about her life. Who she likes, who she hates, and what's bothering her. Anything and everything because she loves to talk. Once anyone else is around, she immediately goes quiet.
✦ ── Even if you're the older, more experienced one, Amo has built the habit of being a reactive protector. When danger shows, she jumps in front of you. Of course, you always pull her away to safety, but it's a sweet gesture.
Enjin
✦ ── Little sibling? Yeah right! He's a grown man! He doesn't need someone bossing him around and sticking their noses into things he can handle!
✦ ── But the kids on Akuta are changing him. Honestly, he looked up to you because you were one of the older members of the Cleaners that didn't look down on him. And now he has a bunch of little reasons to get advice.
✦ ── Whenever anything goes wrong, he calls you first for backup. You're the only person he'll ever admit he needs help from, because he knows you won't dangle it over his head and that you'll be there to support him.
✦ ── A lot of the advice he gives to the kids is usually repackaged things you've told him. Not that there's anything wrong with that; he just learned from you and knows this kind of stuff works.
✦ ── Admittedly a lot of that little sibling energy comes from when he first joined up in the Cleaners and he was much younger. You were always there, and now you're his example of how to take care of the youngins on his team.
Follo
✦ ── Hates to admit that he looks up to anyone, really. But the truth is that he wants to be a giver, and you're a fantastic giver who is always willing to talk to him about it.
✦ ── Follo trusts you more than the others mainly because you actually show care for all parts of the cleaners. You request specific supporters based off their individual skills for missions, and that alone says a lot about you.
✦ ── Kind of maybe perhaps follows you around everywhere like a lost puppy. He goes to the dining hall with you, trains with you, and tags along with you on your days off. Where you go, Follo goes.
✦ ── When he first unlocks his giver powers, you're the first person he tells (that wasn't present already) and the person he wants training him.
✦ ── Honestly won't ever grow out of the little sibling thing. He just trusts you, and he can't imagine the Cleaners without you. Now that he can really defend himself, he'll be sure to protect you.
Momoa
✦ ── Getting close to you was something of an accident. You owned the local music shop and let her hang around all day. and she found herself warming up to you.
✦ ── You were uninvolved with the Cleaners or the Raiders. Just an innocent bystander who wouldn't get hurt in battle, so she didn't have to worry about losing you.
✦ ── Every few days she would show up. You'd let her control the store music and just talk to her. Usually she was silent, but sometimes she'd ask you for advice. Personal or relating to work.
✦ ── Everyone knew she was a raider by her clothes, which meant fewer people troubled you or your store. The one time somebody tried to rob you, they wound up disappearing.
✦ ── She likes that you care about her, that you let her hide out with you. You're just about the only person she respects enough to refuse to look into the memories of, too.
Zanka
✦ ── Zanka looks up to Enjin, but he only kind of looks up to you. It's a love-hate kind of thing.
✦ ── You're experienced, older than him, and you treat him like his age. And he IS still a teen, so of course he needs someone mature to look out for him and his safety.
✦ ── The two of you fight a lot, especially over trivial things. But at the end of the day, when it comes to serious shit, Zanka always trusts your judgment. You know better, even if he hates to admit it, and he learns a lot from your choices.
✦ ── When things get really difficult for him, more often emotionally, he turns to you. You'll find him at your door in the middle of the night, and he'll sulk in your room while you coax whatever's wrong out of him.
✦ ── Yes, you fight and insult one another in front of others all the time. No, no one else is allowed to insult you in any way or try to back him up. Firstly, he can handle himself. Secondly, only he can say that about you.
Author's Note ── You're so right Anon, there needs to be more platonic and familial works in general... Thank you for requesting!

"Roddy!" the familiar chirp from the human was easily discernible in the crowded navigation room, the distinctive patter of their footsteps increasing in volume.
"Hey! What's going on?" He spotted the Earth device in your hand before anything else, optics brightening. Whenever you sought him out, it tended to be for something exciting, and just about anything would be better than discussing routing with Mainframe right now.
Crouching until his servo could reach the floor, he wrapped his digits around you in a comfortable embrace before lifting you closer to his helm.
"I'm planning to confront Magnus about his insane confiscation tendencies, and I'm trying to prove a point. Could I record you listing some things he's got right now?" You held your phone up at the mention of recording, hopeful smile on your face.
It wasn't exactly what he was expecting from you, but who was he to deny your request?
"Totally, sure." Setting you down on a portion of the console further from the others, he let you fumble with your phone until you were holding it up, lenses taking in his fiery appearance.
It hid the smirk growing on your face from giving away your less-than-pure intentions.
"You can start whenever."
"Let's see… I'll start small and build up to the big stuff. Starting with Nautica's wrench. Tailgate's hoverboard. Rung's—"
A chorus of laughter erupted from one of the booths at Swerve's, immediately capturing the interest of the mech who was still riding off the high of freshly escaping another boring Magnus lecture.
The group, made up of many familiar faces, appeared to be crowding a datapad. Cramming himself into the personal spaces of Skids and Brainstorm to get a better look, he grumbled when everyone paused to look at him.
"What? Have I got something on me?"
"More like something IN you." Swerve snickered, though the humour was lost on the captain.
"What he means to say is good job. No one thought you had it…in…you." Nautica started strong, though her sentence broke down into little fits of giggles. "I don't think I want that wrench back."
Thoroughly confused, Rodimus reached for the datapad in the middle, which still had the video it was previously playing pulled up.
The thumbnail was of him in the navigation room. Judging by its point of view, it had to have been the video you'd recorded earlier in the day. While he was under the impression others would see it, he hadn't expected it to gather such an audience.
A blue claw pressed play for him, eager for the shit show the helicopter anticipated.
"Things the captain and I have shoved up our butts. Personally, I have never put anything up mine." A festering suspicion that he had been deceived bloomed in his processor, readily confirmed by the sudden cut to the recording of him.
"Let's see… I'll start small and build up to the big stuff." He grimaced at how much worse this sounded with the caption 'items shoved up butt' on screen.
He began tapping the pause button, trying to get the video to stop playing.
"Starting with: Nautica's wrench. Tailgate's hoverboard. Rung's entire Ark collection. Primus, it's too much stuff. I can't believe it all fits—"
The datapad promptly crashed into a nearby wall, catching the attention of everyone currently in the bar.
Clasping his servos together, he let out a sharp vent through a strained grin.
"Anyone know where they last saw the resident human?"
The same rubber-soled patter was heard in the new silence, his optics immediately catching your form escaping from the bar out into the halls of the Lost Light. You were laughing…! At him…!
The shifting clicks and hiss of plating folding into his alternate mode preceded the burning screech of tires on metal flooring as the sports car took off after you.
You weren't outrunning this one.
Author's Note ── If you don't know, this was based off this trend (bonus here), which I always lose it over. I hope you enjoyed the crumbs of fluff! It always brings me joy to hear my stories have a positive impact 🖤
In which Senku calls in a weapons expert to make the fighting crew something custom suited to them.
Reader is ── Gender Neutral | Weaponsmith
Story is ── Platonic | Headcanons
Warnings | N/A
Hyoga
✦ ── He doesn't enjoy allowing strangers to handle his main weapon, let alone for several hours so they can 'fix' it. It worked; what more could it possibly need?
✦ ── You weren't the average weaponsmith, though. You took one look at the weapon, then him, and took off to your little work area.
✦ ── That same evening you interrupted his training session with the other fighters by tossing the newly made kudayari his way, which he gracefully took into his next mock fight with Moz.
✦ ── Already he could feel the difference. This time the Kuda was made of metal, or more specifically metal plating around bamboo, which kept it light. The shaft was properly treated wood, the sturdy kind coated in something water-resistant.
✦ ── The craftsmanship is impressive; even the blade had Damascus steel patterning along its sharpest edge to look like jagged rocks. You most certainly did a proper job.
✦ ── Okay, consider his attention gotten. After training he'll certainly compliment you on such a proper display of weaponsmithing. He won't say it, but he is thoroughly impressed that you got every aspect correct, even his ideal length, weight, and shape of the blade.
✦ ── It's treasured. Before he didn't mind if his kudayari got chipped or broken because it could be replaced, but now it was something precious. It was the start of something of a friendship between the two of you.
Kohaku
✦ ── With you revived, it was about time someone fixed the half-assed shield Senku had reinforced for her. Besides, it could be made a lot stronger.
✦ ── The wood was horribly splintered, the paint was chipped, and the reinforcements were lousy. If it weren't sentimental, you'd have restarted the project from scratch.
✦ ── Kohaku watches you work, partially because she's interested in how her shield will be reinforced (and thus use its advantage points more) and because she hardly trusts you yet.
✦ ── Shows genuine interest in your craft: Why are you drilling rods throughout it? Why are you sanding it? Why reinforce the straps? So long as you're willing to answer her, she'll ask more.
✦ ── Even better if you let her get involved, be that letting her paint the outside herself or treat the leather for the straps; she feels a sense of pride learning a new art and getting to say she helped!
✦ ── Once it's done, she always visits you to have adjustments or repairs made, though the quality prevents it from getting in bad shape too often.
✦ ── And of course Kohaku tells anyone who asks that you made it. She knows being new to so many people can make it hard to make friends, especially when you're so busy, so she's sure to put in a good word for you with everyone.
Matsukaze
✦ ── With his original weapon lost to time and his stick broken by Tsukasa, Matsukaze had nothing but a bamboo practice sword to defend himself with.
✦ ── Naturally that wouldn't work as proper defence for a genuine fighter, so Senku called you in to make him something proper. After watching him fight, you decided on what'd suit him best: a Tachi blade.
✦ ── The stronger curve would make it harder to break, and the thicker metal would help with that, too. It was also longer, which would help his reach against the many spear users.
✦ ── Once Matsukaze knows you'll be working so hard to get him a weapon, he will be at your side when possible to support you. He brings tea in the morning and your meals when you miss them due to work.
✦ ── He isn't certain he can keep up with what it is you're doing, so he prefers to watch in silence and nod anytime you update him on the process.
✦ ── Before petrification, he knew of weaponsmiths, but they typically worked with stone to chisel sharp edges. Seeing you heat and fold metal continuously for hours on end was a complete step up in dedication to the art.
✦ ── His favourite part is the braiding on the hilt you did using fabric similar to what he wore and the crescent-moon guard you polished just for him. Those personal touches won't be forgotten, and he reminds himself of your hard work anytime he fights.
Moz
✦ ── Why on earth would he ever let some non-fighting stranger touch his armour? Whether Senku trusts you or not doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want you touching him.
✦ ── So of course you 'have' to prove yourself, at the request of your kinder peers, to fix up a spear for him first so he can be sure he can trust your abilities.
✦ ── Except he's a primitive fool who's never seen the talents of a modern-century weaponsmith. As much as you'd rather not waste time making something nice for that asshole, you refuse to put out sub-par work.
✦ ── But seeing him light up at the sturdy spear custom-made to his grip and height so easily, as if he never dismissed you in the first place, made it somewhat worthwhile.
✦ ── You've earned his trust, so he'll let you work on fixing his prized armour so long as he can keep guard. Only, his attention span sucks, so he's not really watching much of anything.
✦ ── Even so, he'll be extra protective while you're working on his stuff and keep everyone away from you so you can 'concentrate.' Though he talks so loud when it's just the two of you that he's hardly helping.
✦ ── The swirling details you add to the edges of his armour are enough to win him over, not even counting the perfect polish and reinforcement done. Sure, he'll tolerate his new favourite weaponsmith.
Tsukasa
✦ ── He's certainly used weapons before, but he was most acquainted with his fists. Still, most of the dangers he faced held weapons, and so he would need one too.
✦ ── Designing something as sturdy as him is a daunting task, but Tsukasa is willing to fetch the materials for you and help you with design so long as you're offering your expertise to him.
✦ ── Though not exactly a traditional weapon, you decide on a double-sided buster sword, which would require a thick grip (allowing for more force to be put on it) and could act as a shield in dire situations.
✦ ── Tsukasa finds you the hardest wood he can for the handle, and you reinforce it with a metal rod that's welded to each blade to prevent it from breaking apart. If the wood breaks, you can always replace it and save the blade.
✦ ── It's so heavy you can barely lift it, and once you've finished sharpening its blade edges, Tsukasa has to help you, or else you risk cutting a limb off.
✦ ── Rather than treating the wood handle, you used a wide bleached leather strip to cushion the grip. Even if his hands are covered in calluses, with a weapon so heavy it'd likely hurt to handle barehanded without some kind of protective layer.
✦ ── Tsukasa will leave you to your work when you don't need help, but when you are done, he is extremely pleased with the finished product. He'll request you watch him train and point him to its best uses.
Ukyo
✦ ── The first bow he made himself, along with all the arrows. It works just fine, since he learned to do it pre-petrification, but he could certainly use an upgrade if you're offering.
✦ ── Instead of the shortbow he was using, you manage to design a recursive bow, which allows for faster speed and harder blows.
✦ ── Ukyo gives you full say in how or what you make him, but he'd like to watch if you allow him. He's mostly silent, only commenting when you ask for his opinion on length, grip, colour, and so forth.
✦ ── If there's extra beaver tail leather from a previous hunt, he'd request you use it on the handle for grip; he'll help treat it while you're busy with the bow. He loves seeing how carefully you wrap the handle, each layer perfectly even and spaced.
✦ ── While feathers are effective fletchings, they can be more unpredictable than the modern plastic ones. So you take the time to make something of a 'cookie' cutter that can cut them out of plastic sheets.
✦ ── Since you have the cutter for the fletchings now, you make a bunch of extras for him so he can make new arrows or replace broken ones as needed.
✦ ── Your thoughtfulness in making him extras, upgrading his bow design, and making him proper fletchlings does not go unnoticed! You're considered a good friend by Ukyo, and he likes to stop by your workshop just to chat now.

In the millions of years that the great war waged on, the mech had seen many interesting characters. While the war wore personalities down into proper foot soldier material, he had still met some who held onto their vanity.
Obsessive polishing. Touching up scratches with fresh paint. Always fresh out of the washracks.
He didn't understand that. Being shiny on the battlefield meant standing out.
The last thing you wanted was to be a walking 'shoot me' sign.
"And this one?" His digit pointed to the little white-lidded pot, which you reached for to unscrew.
"Body moisturizer. This is one of the best ones, cheap too." You raised it so he could get a better look at the thick cream within. His olfactory sensors didn't detect any obvious perfume in the product. "I use it after showers, usually. Keeps my skin from drying out."
He rumbled, optics scanning over the line of products you had in your personal quarters. Some for hair, some for skin (he'd learned rapidly that facial skin and the rest had to have separate products), and some for scent.
"We have something similar, a type of wax. Haven't used it before. Knew some mechs who did."
You hummed in acknowledgement, eyes tracing the roughed-up plating on his servos.
"So soap and wax. That's it? What about for your teeth?" When he only stared in silence, you pointed to your teeth.
"Denta? Same soap."
"You use...the same soap you do for your body wash for your 'denta'?" The disgust evident on your face made him scoff. "Is this just a you thing or a cybertronian thing?"
"Use it to clean my weaponry too. Everything in the ship, really." His voice dipped into a shameful grumble, picking up on your disapproving tone.
He refused to answer the second question.
"I can't imagine that's right. I'm no metal scientist—"
"Metallurgist."
"Metallurgist, thank you. But either your cleaner is too gentle to clean weaponry or far too strong for your mouth." It was at times like this when you wished you had something of a crew. Anyone to back you up.
The two of you were in a silent standoff for a heavy moment. Eventually, he sighed and rested his chin on the table you stood upon.
"You're right. Doesn't change that it wasn't an option during the war." The same vain mechs came to the forefront of his mind again. Being that clean was a disadvantage. It proved to be so when more and more of them died on the battlefield.
Mechs like him, who let their frames deteriorate with the war, blended right in.
"The war is over. Time for a new hygiene routine, wouldn't you say?"
His crimson optics dimmed, the engine within him cooling into a quieter hum.
You were right again. The war is over. He has a difficult time remembering that.
"Set navs for the nearest cosmetic store, Blackshadow! Let's get you some new products."
Author's Note ── Thank you so much! I am so glad you liked it. So many underrated characters go unloved... Deathsaurus, Trepan, Siren, Atomizer, Getaway, Vortex, and so many more come to mind!

✦ ── But he doesn't give up on trying to communicate with you. He knows you read lips well, so he speaks slower and faces you. If you're struggling to get it, he will act out whatever he's saying as best as he can!
✦ ── The great thing is that Gon is a fast learner, so it isn't too long before he's managed to pick up a lot. Translating what he's hearing becomes second nature, like alerting you to announcements and strange noises he didn't expect.
✦ ── Gon knows you can handle your own, but if someone is being ignorant of you and making no effort to communicate with you, he WILL tell them off for it, all while translating his argument for you.
✦ ── He is so expressive that it is very easy to tell how he's feeling, which makes Gon a great friend to have. If something unexpected, exciting, or sudden happens, you can watch his face and understand the situation from his expressions alone.
Killua
✦ ── Is it really that surprising he knows sign language? It's an effective way for assassins to communicate without having to make a sound!
✦ ── The only downside is that he's quick to assume you're ignoring him until he sees you sign. Now aggressively signing about how you 'should have signed something sooner' because 'now he looks like a total idiot.'
✦ ── Just because you don't speak doesn't mean you get an excuse for not bringing something up. Killua is always sure to glance at you to see if you're trying to communicate anything.
✦ ── His vocabulary in sign is kind of jarring, because it's very...violent? It's almost like a posh murderer learned to sign, like he knows complex words about fighting but not how to ask you what your name is.
✦ ── Rather than live translating, Killua takes control of conversations a lot and summarizes them to you. It's frustrating at times, being left out of conversations, but he's trying to save you the waste of time in his own way.
Author's Note ── I'm so sorry...sniffles... I actually do not write for Kurapika or Leorio! But thank you for requesting; I adore writing for Gon and Killua!

Chelsea
✦ ── When you reveal the scene: three chairs surrounding a table set up like an authentic high tea, hidden in the shade of a tree right by a gentle stream, she thinks it's awesome!!!!!!
✦ ── Her go-to tea is mint with a bit of honey. Something with an interesting flavour but easily accessible and a tad sweetened. It's also refreshing despite being a hot beverage, and she likes it BOILING.
✦ ── With Francois on your side, the assortment of treats are all delicious. Chelsea likes to try a bit of everything, because she'd hate to miss out on any fun flavours! But she gravitates towards savoury foods that focus on vegetables/less meat.
✦ ── Her favourite part about tea parties is sharing food with people she loves. Coming together over a meal is great for making lasting connections and bonding.
✦ ── Listening to Luna and you talk is also a bonus, because she gets to ask all kinds of questions. Learning about what her friends like gives her all kinds of inspiration for things to try and find while exploring—like the flowers Luna mentioned liking, or a variety of tea you brought up wanting.
Luna
✦ ── There are about five seconds where she outwardly squeals and tears up before she brushes it off with a mumbled 'thank you.' She is the first to sit down, which is evidence enough of how excited she really is.
✦ ── Luna prefers something flowery. Hibiscus tea is her favourite, especially when made with some coconut syrup or cane sugar. She prefers it served over ice, something nice and cool—like her!
✦ ── Anything sweet, especially soft-baked goods like cream puffs, and anything with fruit baked into it, like a blueberry scone. Light, airy sweets that aren't too sugary.
✦ ── The best part of tea is getting to catch up with her friends. She loves to talk, gossip, and pester you and Chelsea about who you hang out with and what others are like. It's even better if you have an enemy she can diss with you.
✦ ── The fact that you put this together for your friends really sinks into her heart. She is so appreciative of you and finds you so damn cool for going out of your way to plan something so extravagant. Now she just has to convince you to make it a regular occurrence without seeming desperate!
Author's Note ── hehehe hiiiiiiiiiiii landyyyyyyyyy thanks for requesting! This one was made with extra love and care because you've damn earned it!!!!
