All Hands, Battle stations! Captain Huddleston to the Bridge!
Huston is a Writer and the son of the Oscar-nominated Disney composer, Floyd Huddleston, and singer/arranger Nancy Adams. Huston went to Buckley School and LA Valley College. He has written and directed several films, composed over 100 songs for various artists, written 25 screenplays, four musicals, the horror play “Soul Less”, two animated films for Don Bluth and recently wrote and directed the pilot for the animated series “Captain Daddy” starring Ed Asner, Fred Willard and Roger Bart.
He is known lately as "The guy who saved the bridge", specifically the Star Trek: The Next Generation NCC-1701-D U.S.S. Enterprise bridge; Rescuing it before Paramount could send it to the dump. Now the Founder and CEO of New StarShip, he is re-building damaged parts of that bridge, traveling to conventions to show it the public, and raising money for far larger projects. We talk about his journey with volunteers, collecting an All-Star board of directors, and the future Hollywood Sci-Fi Museum.

Bullitt to Blood Relatives; How Jim Edwards got his Start
Jim Edwards, DGA Director, Editor, and Producer
As Jim would tell the story, he was minding his own business when he was nearly run over bhy Steve McQueen during the making of the film Bullitt. He has since gone on to take his own part in movie making history. Currently, he owns Barking Weasel Productions which handles all of his Directing/Production requirements and Ace and Edie HD is his 4K editing studio located in a massive warehouse in downtown Los Angeles for editing jobs.
He is gearing up to direct the 4th season of the Discovery ID hit "Blood Relatives". He is also currently editing a documentary at Ace and Edie HD featuring Steven Hawking/Kip Thorne on the nature of consciousness. Famed Cinematographer Paul Goldsmith directed it.
Jim created shows like Deadliest Catch and Wingnuts. He was once with Mike Mathis Productions bringing us the shows Post Partum Nightmares, Left at the Altar, Born on a Bad Day, I Didn't Know I was Pregnant, and Blood Relatives. His association with GRB Entertainment as a Director/Editor brought us the shows Untold Stories of the ER, and Expeditions to the Edge.
Jim is known for redefining the look of car commercials- as well as playing drums for the Beach Boys! His interests have been very broad but have been very influential over the years.
He has received the Professional of the Year, Cambridge Registry, 2012, as well as over 150 Industry awards including Cleos, Beldings, Cannes Cine Golden Eagles, Cine South de Mexico, Addy's, Mobius awards, LIA (London), Effies, Tellys and AME awards for marketing effectiveness.

On his way out the door after we stopped recording, he saw my t-shirt and said, "Ohh. I worked on Star Wars...the first one and the third one. Let's talk about that next time." My mouth agape, he ran out, and we began planning his next visit!

In the Independent Film world, Danelle Produced and UPM’d the 2nd highest-selling film at AFM - the award-winning political thriller “La Linea” with Ray Liotta and Andy Garcia; also the award-winning boxing drama “The Bad Penny”; “Bangkok Bound” which was shot in Thailand and the US; the children’s program “Rainbow Tribe”; IFC’s TV series “Independent Focus”; “North by El Norte” which was shot in the US and Mexico; the award winning “Mom & Me”; and was involved in the documentaries “Backpack Doctors of Burma”, “While Time Stands Still” and “Catherine Connor”. Danelle has won numerous awards, is pre-approved for bond and insurance, and is known for bringing films in on time and on budget. Danelle is also an award-winning screenwriter who has guided many screenwriters to their final draft.
In the Studio world, Danelle Produced and UPM’d several projects for Marvel Studios execs Kevin Fiege and Brad Winderbaum which were released on the “Thor” and “Avengers” DVDs and Blue Ray and linked together the characters in the Marvel Universe. She worked on dozens of A-list films in both Physical Production and the Development Departments, including Phoenix Pictures, Sony Studios, Sanford-Pillsbury and Universal Family Film & TV. Danelle received her first professional credit on a PBS series when she was 18 and has since worked her way through the ranks of Hollywood in numerous departments in development, production and post- production capacities. This multi-faceted background has given her a unique ability to minimize problems and cut film costs without sacrificing creativity.
Ted Hayash is a Cinematographer working in Los Angeles. Coming up as a Gaffer, he has lead many crews in many different environments.
Ted Hayash grew up in the forest, surrounded by the beautiful light of New England and was long fascinated by art, music and photography while thinking like a scientist. After attending Clarkson University, and seeing Robert Altman speak, he realized that filmmaking was the perfect way to merge his love of the scientific and the artistic. Graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts having won several awards for cinematography, his path was set, and he has since traveled the world over, filming in such diverse places as Western Europe, India, China, and Albania and at least 16 of the United States. Training under many award winning cinematographers has helped him refine his eye, and this has led to all kinds of work, from feature films including Monster, S.W.A.T., Decoding Annie Parker (Helen Hunt, Samantha Morton, Aaron Paul), to long form television (Twisted, Super Fun Night) and shorter projects including title sequences (The Incredible Hulk, Masterpiece Theater) and television commercials.
He owns Digital Film Studios, a boutique film studio in Sun Valley.
VanNessa Manlunas is a young emerging talent in the world of Cinematography. Graduating with a degree in Video Production, VanNessa stood out from the beginning and was honored with the Best Cinematographer Award in her graduation class. Post college she continued to master her craft and climb through the male dominated ranks of Cinematography. She later joined the Local #600 which provided her with a wealth of experience working with the world's top Directors of Photography including Robert Elswit, Rodrigo Prieto and Paul Cameron. She has been privileged enough to work on numerous commercials creating a strong reputation vital in her career shift to Director of Photography for films.
VanNessa brings her passion and female perspective to her work, giving voice to women in storytelling and in the film industry. She has worked on films including Draft Day, Inamorata, Red Sands, and Some Boys Don't Leave.

Timothy Gagliardo - Director/Producer
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Timothy Gagliardo’s favorite toy growing up was his father’s VCR, helping him memorize his favorite films frame for frame. He shot and edited his first video at the age of 15. With a perfect math SAT score, Tim was recruited by MIT. But he had a love for film and chose to attend the prestigious Emerson College Film Program on scholarship. He graduated with a degree in writing for the screen and film directing. After graduation, Timothy moved to LA to pursue a career in features, where he lived out of his car until he booked his first job as a carpenter on a Reality TV Show. Timothy has worked nearly every position over the course of 34 feature films. WHEELS marks the directorial debut for Timothy Gagliardo.
Donavon Thomas- Director/Producer
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donavon Thomas grew up knowing he was destined to be an actor. Fresh out of high school, Donavon couldn't wait to get started in Hollywood so he moved to Los Angeles and spent his first 8 months living out of his car. While he worked nights at the post office and studied acting during the day, Donavon wrote the feature film, Wheels. After writing Wheels, Donavon founded the production company Loaded Dice Films, with the mission to shoot movies that would not normally be made by the studio system. Wheels is Loaded Dice Films' most ambitious project to date. Besides playing Mickey in the film, Wheels also marks Donavon Thomas's directorial debut.
