I really enjoy the excercise of drawing in red lighting, it makes me think of Bryan Lewis Saunders Color month experiments
this his website where u can read about it in his words
but this is the basics of the experiment:
'YELLOW / RED / BLUE MONTHS'
"While living in a small office (app. 7'x21') with flourescent lights I began to notice the important role that the environment could play in ones interpretation of the self. So in an effort to manipulate my environment I did an experiment where for three months I lived (and painted) 24 hours a day seven days a week under the influence of different colored flood lights. Each month I chose a different primary color. The first month I had 6 yellow flood lights always on. The next month I had 6 red flood lights and the last month I had 6 blue ones."
