🔵🟠 BRYAN MBEUMO SIGNS WITH MANCHESTER UNITED FROM BRENTFORD
Manchester United has completed the signing of Brentford FC forward Bryan Mbeumo in a deal worth up to £71 million ($96m), securing the 25-year-old until 2030 with an option for an extra year. The Cameroonian enjoyed a career-best 2024-25 season, scoring 20 Premier League goals, a tally bettered only by Salah, Isak, and Haaland, while helping Brentford secure a top-half finish.
“This is the club I dreamed of playing for as a boy,” Mbeumo said. “I’ll give everything to improve under Ruben Amorim and learn from world-class teammates.” A versatile attacker, he thrived on the right wing and as a striker, starting every league game last season. Since joining Brentford in 2019, he recorded 70 goals and 51 assists in 242 appearances.
United’s football director Jason Wilcox called Mbeumo “one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers,” adding, “His creativity and work ethic make him a perfect fit.” The signing follows the arrivals of Cunha, Leon, and Kana-Biyik this summer. Mbeumo will join United’s preseason tour in the U.S., featuring friendlies against West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton, as the squad prepares for the new campaign.
