🎸─ Keeping track of a hyperactive child is a hassle, so you've had to tie their hand on a rope to you or grab their hood when they try to run away.
🎸── He'd eat anything you cooked. Not very picky about food in general.
🎸─ When he was being naughty someone would try to catch him and scold him, he would constantly run and hide behind your back, making faces at whoever complained to you about him.
🎸─── Even though you didn't take it out on him, you tried to show him that some of his actions weren't very good, it was better to do things differently and apologize. It wasn't always obvious that he was listening, but Draco absorbed every word you said and made notes for himself.
🎸─ If he doesn't know what to do in a particular situation, he comes to you and asks for some advice.
🎸─ When you praised Draco for completing an errand or just spoiled him, it was like he would brighten up and bounce around you happily chirping and his accomplishments.
🎸─ Over time, he started to look up to you. He started to spend more time with you, started to help you.
🎸─ Trying to return all your care doubly so, knowing how much time you spend on him and keeping everything afloat. Doing some ordinary things, carrying your bags, making tea/coffee, a sandwich.
🎸─ Spending time with you on walks tries to remember all the details of the day.
🎸─ For a period of time he was afraid of thunderstorms, he tried to look like someone who wasn't afraid in your eyes, but flinching at the sound and refusing to let him sleep with you until the weather calmed down, he still ended up snuggled against your side under the covers after a while.
