OH MY GOODNESS!!!!₍₍⚞(˶>ᗜ<˶)⚟⁾⁾ I JUST READ MY REQUEST YOU MADE OH MY GOODNESS. I ADORE IT. I WILL TREASURE IT FOREVER(ˊᵒ̴̶̷̤ ꇴ ᵒ̴̶̷̤ˋ) THANKFULLY IT GAVE ME A SERATONIN BOOST TO MAKE THIS REQUEST EVEN MORE KAOMOJI FILLED৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻) [and i totally agree they have more emotion than stickers]
ANYHOW!!(⁎⁍̴̛ ₃ ⁍̴̛⁎)!! This one can be done kinda angsty.... the request is your oyster( ≧ᗜ≦)
The actual request instead of my excited yapping: Ashlyn [again(,,¬﹏¬,,)] × fem!reader who is an exchange student at their school for a year(꒦ິ ꒳꒦ີ ) Where both of them end up catching feelings after initially not planning on getting along since they're kinda opposite but Ash eventually has to see the reader go back home and they both haven't had a chance to confess anything, realising they've ran out of time togetherദ്ദി(ㅠ﹏ㅠ)
This is getting LONNNGGGG so to wrap it up, you could do whatever you'd like with the ending – make it unresolved, get them to confess, just have reader sob into Ash's shoulder, as I said the request is your oyster 𖹭
Have a lovely day/evening/night and take care of yourself!!! [Thank you sm again for doing my request its made me so happy I could cry – i probably will](♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)
Thank you for your kind words, I hope you enjoy this too.
some changes in canon (plot&temper)
•.°❀×═ 🧃 — You arrived in early July to get settled in the city and begin your exchange program the following month. Your host family was very kind and made every effort to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The whole month flew by, you were taken to so many places, shown the sights and beautiful places where you vacationed. Now it's time to get ready for the first day of school.
Your "mother" dropped you off at your place of study on the way. She wished you a good day and left.
You knew about your supervisor and where your classes would be, so finding a class was the only problem. You entered the school when there was already a small influx of students. Awkwardly looking around to find the right room number, you bumped into someone outside one of the classrooms. Disoriented, you frantically began apologizing to whoever you bumped into.
When you looked up, met the gaze of a red-haired girl. After an awkward silence, you decided to change the subject and ask about the class. The girl pushed away her earpiece, and you asked again. The stranger pointed to the room she had just left.
Thanking them, you entered the classroom. Desks were arranged in a circle, and two seats by the window were still available. The rest were occupied by four brunettes and one blond. You asked if they'd mind if you joined them, to which they simply nodded, and the blond smiled cheerfully and replied, "We don't bite."
Sitting further away from the blond guy, just in case, and closer to the girl with coffee-colored hair, she started a conversation with you about "Who you are, where you're from, and what your hobbies are."
After receiving the assignment from the teacher, the next day he gathered everyone on the bus, where you sat near the window, and Ashlyn sat next to you.
The events in Savannah left the guys emotionally shattered. Because you were a bit late, you missed the secret room, which triggered the nightmares. The guys filled you in on the situation so you could be on guard even while awake.
Since you lived near Ashlyn, it was quicker to get to her. For convenience and a certain security, Ashlyn would spend the night at your place or invite you to spend the night at hers. During all that time spent on the defensive, she found solace in you, and you grew closer during that time.
She never had friends she could connect with emotionally, but you changed that, even if you weren't into gymnastics and were loud. You kept her on her toes and kept her on her toes. Outside of studying and her dream-monster hunts, you'd hang out, play board games or PlayStation, have pillow fights, or build pillow forts in front of the TV.
The feelings appeared immediately and did not go unnoticed; some of Ashlyn's actions became awkward, unsure of what she was doing and whether it looked like a friendly gesture...
Several months flew by, helping the boys treat their wounds, if any, and giving them water, while also completing school assignments and projects. All of this lasted until the end of December, because you had to go home...
Ashlyn wasn't ready to break up and was dragging her feet until the last minute.

I like cliches where characters collide, what do you like?
I've never been to Georgia and don't know the entire vacation system and the start of school, so I'm relying on information on the internet.
