This screenshot is cracking me up. Poor Link really means well in this scene. He just wanted to do something nice but ended up falling short and making things worse. I think we’ve all been there.

Sometimes we try to do nice things but it falls short. Some people don’t appreciate the effort and it goes unnoticed, or we mess up and are too embarrassed to try again. I just have to say, if you’re making an effort to do something nice, that’s what really counts. A lot of people don’t go out of their way to do something special for someone so if you’re one of those people, good on you. You’re being your mythical best and that’s what this whole thing is about. If someone doesn’t appreciate your efforts it can be disheartening and it can make you lose motivation to do something nice in the future. I totally understand that, but you should just do it because it’s the right thing to do. Whether the person appreciates it or not, or whether you screw everything up, just know that you tried and that’s what matters. You rock. I love you. Have a good day.
