After Two Years of Illness, I Finally Updated Beneath Skin and Bane

Hi all,

I’ve been writing my Lumione fic for ages because I genuinely love digging into messy themes like morality and the blurry line between good and evil. It’s always been my happy place.

Two years ago, life decided to go full dramatic plot twist on me and I was diagnosed with an incurable illness. Due to health reasons I wasn't able to write (or do anything other than making sure it didn't get worse) My career turned upside down; I had to make tough decisions. 2/10, would not recommend.

Very, very slowly things have improved. And yesterday, for the first time in two years, I finally managed to post a new chapter. Yay!

It might not seem huge, but to me it’s massive. Being able to return to this story, and rereading the incredibly kind comments from the lovely Lumione community (we're so niche), has given me more strength than I can properly put into words.

Thanks for being wonderful.

Smol rant/vent, and Shapes of May/JSAB Fanzine

Hai guyssssss! ^w^;

Just passing by to tell you guys(and by this I refer to my friends TwT) that if I haven't been much online recently or if I don't interact much throughout this weekend it's because of this university project that's taken all my time ;W;

I have to write a bajillion things on Probability and Statistics and I've already written about...47 pages so far methinks =<=

I'm still in chapter 2 :'3

Out of a total of 6 chapters... TwT

Anywayersm I'm over-doing this project bc our teacher SUCKS A TON and he's taught barely anything, I'm quite suspicious he wants us to fail his class, which I obviously don't want to XD

On another note, I'm also gonna have to finish my fanzine art completely on the next few days, which will be tons of work, but it's still good news bc I'll be busy only for a week at maximum. By then I'll finally be able to be more active online and work on art stuff, if all goes well!! <:D

I'm still accepting P3s and P4s, but if any of you guys already sent yours, can you just get in touch with me as a reminder you already did? I'm making a list of everyone who's given me their player OCs for this art, so that they can be credited for the comic! <:)

Pls cheer or pray for me whatever I just-...really wanna get these two VERY important things done so I'll have at least a much better free time window to have fun with you guys and work on my JSAB AU TwT

I'm tired I will be honest, but I'm hopeful either way, my body is the only bad thing atm since I've had to eat and drink much more than usual to keep up with all this effort, but things have much likeliness to work out very well, I just need to maintain my rhythm TwT

Thank you guys so much for being there for me, for being my friends, and for being your amazing selves! Each of you are unique and special in so many ways idek how to fully put this into words TwT I couldn't be happier to at least pay homage to you guys by making the fanzine art with your goobers, since it's likely a smol least I can make (for now) <:D

Crookshanks POV

I had a blast writing parts of the latest chapter of Beneath Skin and Bane from the POV of Crookshanks. Some excerpts:

That silly blond boy threw himself into Hermione’s arms like a lost kitten. What a disgrace, considering it was mating season. Crookshanks shot him one last look of disdain before prancing back onto his sleeping pile. No chance for him to mate if he acted this ludicrous.

The next morning, Crookshanks stared down at the impudent boy who had taken over his morning sleeping place, sullying it with his smell. He tried to wake him up by shoving his paw against his face. When that did not work, he climbed onto him to crush him with his weight. At last, he woke up and rushed into the bathroom, where he honked up as if he had eaten too many bones from his last prey. Undignified idiot.

It was time he confronted the man-kitten. After all, Crookshanks was known for his lethal paws of steel, fast like lightning, quiet like a shadow. Paw, paw!

One of my most favourite scenes in Bridgerton Season 1. Not only because it's hot but also because I'd written a scene like that in Beneath Skin and Bane FanFiction years ago!
