Top 5/10 episodes from new shows watched this year?

My little list is so useful rn <3

I'll limit it to one per show. And they're in alphabetical order, jic.

Battlestar Galactica's “Colonial Day” (season 1 episode 11). Political maneuvering from all directions FTW!!! Not to mention some dancing, nice xD

Batwoman's “Fair Skin, Blue Eyes” (season 2 episode 4). This one has a lot of good episodes but I have a special fondness for this one, with the exploration of Ryan's backstory and how it relates with the show at large, plus the introduction of Angelique/Ryan.

Harley Quinn “Bachelorette” (season 2 episode 9). Hard to pick, tbh, but I really dig this one. The Harlivy in it is great and heartbreaking in the best ways, the secondary characters gave it a nice touch, and they saved Themyscira and partied with the amazons!! What's not to like.

Legacies “Someplace Far Away from All This Violence” (season 4 episode 7). Had to mention it, obviously.

Severance “The We We Are” (season 1 episode 9). What a season finale. It really showcases the whole cast in gr10 ways, it made me love Helly R even more. I’m SOOO relieved it’s already renewed, ngl. I hadn’t been so hooked on a s1 finale since The Good Place.

Complicated question, but since I finished s1, why not. Let's keep track of this xD

Laura Roslin. Simply fascinated by her and her brand of political savviness. Can't wait to see more of her.

Gaius Baltar. Super entertaining, incredibly human in every sense (if HE turns out to be a cyborg when he's about one of the two people I'm 99.9% sure is human, I'll have a laugh about this though). Pathetic in a way that makes me understand all that "babygirl" stuff.

- 6. Blatantly cheating because it's incredibly hard to order Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Ellen Tigh, Number Six, and Number Eight (both versions, so yeah, I'm cheating again xD. Although at the moment I'd pick Boomer). Starbuck conquered me when she "hacked" the cylon bio ship; Ellen and I were love at first sight, she's just FUN and gets better from then; and Six and Eight's narratives have me hooked. As of the finale I'd keep *this* order, but I don't know how long it'll last.

I still have two episodes left but I think “Colonial Day” will definitely be my favourite season 1 episode.

all the political intrigue and maneuvering!!

Roslin having that lightbulb moment that leads her to make Baltar of all people his VP (and it paying off)!! (love that she recognized it as “the devil you know” and that she very much Does Not Like Him even if she masks it really well too lol)

Ellen being delightful and conniving and mercenary and straight up flirting with a terrorist in front of her husband!!

Adama inviting Roslin to a dance during the celebration!!

Helo finding out the truth about Number Eight!!

also, LMAO at Six being basically, “Gaius, I give you permision to fuck other women. but your heart is mine and if you give it to someone else I’ll rip it out 😠”. something about her possessiveness is very dark romantic antihero-like and it speaks to me, idk xDD

Apollo’s joy when he saw Starbuck written in the cylon ship’s wings made me a liiiiiittle bit emotional, ngl *sniffs*

anyway. just gonna keep picturing adama-roslin-adama as a father vs. son triangle. it’s funnier for me.

I do enjoy the way Adama-Roslin-Adama kinda works as a triangle, if not a romantic one per se lol.
