Tim starts a Tumblr account and posts ‘incorrect quotes’ for all the bats, only they’re not incorrect they’re all actual conversations/sentences they’ve had, and he gains a huge following super quick because every line is pure gold. Barbara is the first to find out and agrees to help keep the secret, then it’s Stephanie who either gains access to the account or starts writing fanfic abt the batfam that includes all these details that line up a bit too perfectly with the truth because it’s hilarious, then Duke who thinks it’s genius and either still makes them buy his silence or starts drafting posts for Tim that he said with/to civilians and/or alone on patrol. Then Dick finds out because one of the Titans shows him this funny blog they found and he recognises almost every post, so he starts looking into it just as Tim starts posting Young Justice and Teen Titans ‘incorrect’ quotes too, and they have to blackmail him into silence.
When Bruce finds out he demands Tim delete the account, and instead Tim posts the entire conversation.
So omegaverse is lowkey my guilty pleasure especially the DC omega Bruce ones (sue me)
And i was just thinking the other day
Do gothamites in omegaverse DC know where Damian came from? Like who his other parent his? Do they know about Talia (probably not)
Just imagine you are peacefully living your life in Gotham when suddenly Bruce Wayne, one of the most famous Omegas in America or maybe even the world suddenly has an 8 year old biological child, and when people look at Bruces public appearances when he would've been pregnant he just, looks normal, like he always has
So people of course have theories, cryptid pregnancy and Bruce just decided to not reveal Damian to spare him the media attention, surrogacy, Brucie just straight up forgot to announce that he's pregnant and that he's gonna have a baby now, that Damian's a result of one of Bruce's "flings" that he was embarrassed about, that he's trying to pass off another adopted child as his own (that theory didn't survive even a day, I mean just look at Damian)
And I think that this scenario is even funnier in the the au where Alpha Talia somehow managed to create Damian without Bruce's knowledge and just dropped him off one random day (she stole his DNA or smth)
Everyone is theorising on how Bruce managed to hide a pregnancy all while Bruce just straight wasn't aware of having a biological child despite him being the one who would've been pregnant
thinking about how damian has a resting expression that looks annoyed even when he’s neutral, which leads to 80% of misunderstandings . . .
i think damian genuinely doesn’t realize what his face looks like most of the time. people see him and immediately assume he’s annoyed, or judging them, or on the verge of snapping. he’s not trying to project anything, that’s just where his face naturally rests.
it causes misunderstandings he never catches in real time. someone will look nervous talking to him and he’ll think it’s because they’re shy or uncomfortable in the manor, but really they think he hates them. he’ll be like, “i was perfectly polite,” and everyone else is like, “you looked like you were about to tell them off.” but from his perspective he was literally nodding along, listening, fully present. he doesn’t consider that the way he looks might be sending people the wrong message.
it’s especially noticeable on missions. he’ll be focused, scanning, taking everything in, and his face gets even more still. tim will glance over like, “is he pissed at me?” and damian’s just thinking about how he needs to tighten one of the gauntlet straps when they get back. bruce has learned to ignore it. jason likes to poke fun at it. dick tries to compensate by being overly friendly to whoever damian is talking to so they don’t think he’s mad.
it’s not like he’s unaware of his reputation, but he doesn’t connect it to his expression. he thinks people assume the worst of him because of his past or because he’s blunt. he never thinks, “oh maybe it’s because i look perpetually irritated.” he’ll walk away from a conversation thinking it went fine while the other person is spiraling like, “did i offend him???” meanwhile he’s already moved on mentally.
he’s not trying to be standoffish; he just doesn’t perform his emotions outwardly the way other people do. he feels things so intensely and yet none of it ever makes it to his face unless he’s caught off guard. so people fill in the gaps with whatever they expect from him: irritation, judgment, anger. he never gets to control the narrative because his resting expression does it for him.
It just hit me that Clark, as a farm boy, definitely knew how and did drive a quite large number of different vehicles at a very young age.
Imagine witnessing Superman backing up a truck with trailor like he is a professional truck driver with 29 years experience, but in reality, his dad was doing that large landscaping pond project once and needed hands so naturally a 5 year old Clark got himself a promotion on the farm
batfamily bullshit but like do you guys think like when jason was robin bruce would accidentally call him dick on occasion and it was like. haha bruce you old man. laugh about it like a silly joke.
and then bruce calls tim jason and it’s. it’s not so funny anymore
ok WHERE did the assumption come from that jason todd is this big suave player… ppl say jason todd talks you through it?? no bbg jason todd needs to be talked through it. that man is the nerdiest lil dude and thats canon. (unless it’s ak!jason, but i like to forget that ever happened)
my man is so traumatized and he died at like… fifteen? sixteen in some continuities? he was not getting anything and that’s completely normal.
yah btw everyone who thinks that jason is a player n super manly man is actually a roy harper stan. not lying btw i was one of them
