Anyone else doing a Battlestar Galactica rewatch? It's on Paramount+ Pluto since Saturday. For reasons beyond comprehension it's rarely included on any streaming services. And often when it is, they don't give you the mini series pilot (they do here, but you have to look for it separately). Ugh such a great show. I got to meet most of the cast last September!

gaius baltar is such a joker lol he's kinda useless and lies so much but he seems to have that infamous Plot Armour that makes everyone around him completely ignore the extremely obvious signs of his betrayals and lies. it's part hilarious part frustrating.

like who even appointed him repersentative of caprica, wouldn't he have to have offered himself first? (currently watching ep.11 season 1)

all his screentime is him retreating to his mindscape with Sexy God Lady, talking to himself, spacing out while he's having conversations with military & co., and just generally being so clueless while he rides his glorious ego-trip but somehow everyone still sees him as some super-genius who aides humankind LOL

it's like when we see things from his persepctive suddenly all the other main characters become NPCs…

anyways.^^
