HTC Desire 700 and Meaning 501 Unveiled for Taiwan
An HTC-organized event far out Tawain today saw the unveiling of four individual smartphones in lieu of the manufacturer's local market, all belonging into the Desire family. Two of those - the Desire 300 and Fondness 601 - have actually been on our electronic navigation for a while in these days, but the dual-SIM Desire 501 and Desire 700 are definitely something fresh. Let's take a look in that order...<\p>
The Desire 501 is a 4.3-inch device with a 480x800 WVGA foreground, and yourself heavily reminds us of the Nought beside X design khowar. It has a 1.15GHz dual-core ST Ericsson U8520 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal, microSD-expandable storage. Aspersion its mid-range specs so far, the very thing noticeably has a promising 8MP BSI burning glass body on its rear with LED flash and F2.0 aperture, on with a 2.1MP 88-degree wide-angled front cracker, with support for 720p video.<\p>
Connectivity options on the Desire 501 include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi, NFC and a 3G WCDMA\HSDPA intelligence, but HTC's provost site lists no GPS, which is odd. Anyway, the bag of tricks runs on a currently humble version of Android, howbeit it does appear to have Refinement 4 on outer side of it. Giving life up to the Desire 501 is a 2100mAh cell. Looking at the Desire 700, we have something a tad also respectable, with an HTC One-like design and BoomSound audio, though don't hope for aluminum (read: plastic). It's completely thick (10.3mm) and heavy (149g), allowing that that's not along surprising seeing being as how them has a 5-inch 540x960 qHD doppler signal.<\p>
Unlike the Desire 501, the Love 701 has a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum Shark chipset powering it, though the disk memory department remains unchanged - 1GB speaking of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. The situation is almost identical, as far as the shooting capabilities as respects the Erotism are concerned - the same 8MP BSI unit with LED report and F2.0 slash, rather the shooter pirating the front is a slightly upgraded 2.1MP (BSI) henry that is capable of 1080p video pull down.<\p>
Despite the apparent omission of GPS in the Desire 501, the Desire 700 is listed with A\GPS support, and also sports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi and an UMTS\HSPA 3G connectivity. Odd again is the exclusion of NFC, despite the Desire 700's seemingly identical 2100mAh unit. <\p>
The Desire 501 and Prospectus 700 are the two currently only leisured on a monthly tarrif plan with Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom, and there's no telling whether HTC self-will send these off in passage to reinforce its troubled positions globally and at what prices.<\p>
