Why going public was the worst thing

I think that the worst thing that happened to Crylife (besides me) was going public when the mod was not ready. it gave it a lot of unnecessary attention that now is backfiring at it.

Anyyyywayyyy: i’ve picked the mod after moving to win 8.1 (oh horror) and fixed a few things, there are however, still some things to fix, like the stationary gun model, gravity gun model, dual pistols and so on.

So I was thinking and I’m gonna stick to this idea: I need help. gonna bounce around Bsnooch ask for help, but I’m also asking here, so: if you know your smod well contact me.

I’ve also lost a great friend of mine because of my stupidity, he’s not dead or anythin, I’ve just been an ignorant asshole as always.

I’m sorry buddy, I’m really sorry, I’m gonna peer pressure myself to contact you and apologize, hoping that you’ll be able to forgive me. but today is not the day as always...

Yes, hello.

I wanted to clarify some things: first of all I’ve left Dev.Muffin, It was fun but, I swear to god I was the only person there DOING something productive, the rest of squad was like “we can’t create any assest until source code will be finished” - are you fucking serious? so yeah, I left the team, they on their own now.

The second this is, I’m plannign to be a bit more interwebz active, you know, livestreams, more youtube uploads (mainly Let’s make an SMOD, which BTW, can be found here ) and more ModDB content regarding Crylife, and oh yeah, about Crylife: I’m still making it, it’s still on source 2006, which means SMOD but there are plans for porting it to source 2013 SKD, I’m serious. but that’s sometime in the future.

As for the release date for Crylife, I’m aiming towards end of may, yes, may 2015, but who knows how it’s gonna be, still, may 2015 it is.

Now, since I’ve got all the nasty stuff out of the way I’d like to state here something: THIS IS MY PRIVATE BLOG, it’s still 90% about Crylife, modding and games in general, if you want to follow, cool, if you just want to lurk, I’m fine with it.
