Welcome to Between Semesters and Sunsets! This is going to be a slice-of-life style series following the life of Professors Mattheo and Adalinda Riddle.
Characters:
Mattheo Riddle - Defence Against the Dark Arts professor
Adalinda “Ada” Riddle (nee Nott) - Care for Mythical Creatures professor
Theodore Nott - Astronomy professor
Backstory:
Mattheo and Adalinda - who preferred to go by Ada - met in their 5th year of Hogwarts through her twin brother, Theo and immediately became fast friends. Their friendship slowly morphed into something more during their 6th year.
They got married in a small, intimate ceremony shortly after graduating from Hogwarts. They did the long-distance thing for several years - Adalinda getting a job at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, studying under famed dragonologist, Charlie Weasley, while Mattheo stayed back and became an Auror.
Theo and Mattheo were the first to get hired as professors - Mattheo as the DADA professor and Theo taught Astronomy. Together, they managed to convince Adalinda to apply for the Care of Mythical Creatures professor position, and finally, nearly 10 years after graduation, the trio was back to terrorize the halls of Hogwarts.
