A groan issued out from her as she began to lift up a little, her gaze bleary and face tinged with green. A small break in her concentration and her elbow gave, nearly causing her to crash back into the floor.

“I-I’m…fine.” He was the last person she wanted to see her like this, the person who she admired so much to see her weak. “Just…maybe training on an empty stomach wasn’t my best idea.” A laugh hid the pain that wracked her body. Truthfully, she had been overexerting herself for days now, trying to strengthen herself. With the chaos the League had caused them, the way Izuku and Bakugo seemed to be racing ahead of her, she couldn’t falter now.

She had to keep herself going.

“Could you…Do you mind giving me a hand?” She asked gently, genuinely feeling like she needed the help to her feet. “I’m sure once I’m up, I’ll feel much better.”
