The Dalek story I want to see is a story that would make Daleks scary again. Or perhaps just remind people why they need to be afraid of them.
The scene would start with the new Doctor taking her companion on a tour of fantastical places- the last place they go is a beautiful city filled with advanced technologies and brilliantly dressed guards and valiant memorials . Make it clear that this civilization is valiant and has won many battles and wars.
They join a celebration when people far off in the distance begin screaming and millions of people flock towards and run past the Doctor and her companion. Out of the rubble and fog in the distance lights would be seen and slowly making their way down the street towards them. Behind them a massive city building collapses and a single Dalek ship is scene.
“No, it can’t be- I don’t remember this ever happening-“ The Doctor would say at some point as she gets her companion to safety. This would show that not even a timelord can remember all of their life’s events. She comes up with a plot to keep the Daleks from winning but there are many and they aren’t here to loose.
Scene continues, Dalek strategists and the supreme and the emperor are all shown and it is eventually clear that this planet will fall. The Doctor pulls her companion into her ship to escape the destruction with screams and battlescenes constantly playing out.
The show never returns to that planet, it’s never mentioned in detail as she doesn’t want to talk about it.
