Hi, my name is Juliet and I’m a volunteer for Beyond the Classroom @btheclassroom One of our educational interventions is the annual Back to School campaign where we source for funds to get children from disadvantaged and marginalized communities back to school. This year, we identified an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Karon majigi Abuja with over 100 out of school children at the primary level. These children and their families with majority orphans, escaped from places like Bauchi, Borno and Maiduguri. For many IDPs in Abuja, the danger is too great for them to consider returning to their villages. We’re fundraising to enroll 100 of these children back to school in September 2019. It will cost N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira ) to sponsor one child into school for the entire school year. I’ll like to enroll 5 children and will need your support.
