The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has issued a set of regulations aimed at improving the quality of engineering and management courses delivered online and via open and distance learning (ODL). Institutions that want to start online courses in technical areas will now need AICTE permission, according to these regulations, which were issued on March 3rd.
