#BTheFace of Appreciation

There are only a couple more sleeps until the contest to #BTheFace of Mercedes-Benz Canada is officially complete and we discover who the winner is.

Before we get there, I want to thank you all so very much for your votes and support over the past month during my quest to become a Mercedes-Benz Canada Social Ambassador and to win a one-year lease on the 2013 B-Class. 

It means more than I can say to have so many people rally around me. I wouldn't be a contender without you and I'm truly humbled. This contest has been a fun ride...one I hope will continue!

As well as being exciting, playful and suspenseful, I've found the past four weeks to be educational. I've learned more about Mercedes-Benz and explored new depths in social media.

I'd particularly like to give a big shout out to: 

- Mark Gerretsen, Mayor of Kingston, Ontario for his video endorsement - 104.3 CKWS-FM & Corus Entertainment for their ongoing support and on-air mentions - The 50/50 Project and Photographer Stephen Liu for the playful superhero photos - Kingston This Week for the newspaper coverage  - Mercedes-Benz Kingston for giving me access to the B-Class - My family, friends (both online and offline)

Your Shares on Facebook, Retweets on Twitter, Likes & Comments on Instagram and overwhelming support through votes has absolutely floored me, I truly never expected so much support.  My videos on YouTube has received more hits in under a week than some of my videos that have been there since I started the account years ago.  What's also amazed me, is the climbing hits on this Tumblr account.  Yes... I'm a nerd who watches that ha ha!  The time so many of you have taken to read my posts really amazes me.. and at the risk over saying it over again, I'm truly humbled.

Also, a very big thank you goes to the other B-Playful entrants as well as those in the B-Seen, B-Adventurous, and B-Spontaneous categories. You are all amazing and unique individuals and thanks to this contest, some of you I've gotten to know quite well!

Lastly, thanks to Mercedes-Benz Canada for this wonderful opportunity.  Hats off to you for hosting this innovative contest and for encouraging the young adults of today. 

If I'm selected (and let's be honest...I really hope I am) I don't know which aspect I'd be more excited about ... to "BTheFace" as your Social Ambassador or to have the pleasure of driving a B-Class car. 

Since I live in Kingston - I'm in the middle of what some call "The Triangle" - a primo spot to hit up some great B-Class events in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal! 

Lastly...please don’t forget to cast your vote. We've still got all weekend ... if there's one thing I've learned through this contest... "It ain't over till it's over!" You can VOTE HERE everyday until March 31!
