in this route, after wonbin comes back from ulsan, he is a whole different person at least to yn. by the time wonbin returns from ulsan, he has essentially moved on from the whole fiasco with yn and is now back to his old self. even ended up being civil with yn. obviously they now have history together and wonbin has put up like a boundary between him and yn just for his own peace but there is no harbored lingering feelings for yn anymore. yn on the otherhand, who realized that she actually liked wonbin this whole time is now the one chasing after him. the one initiating plans only to be rejected and the such. but get this, they haven’t had closure on what happened between them before wonbin left for ulsan and came back as a whole different person (at least to her) during this, she realizes that wow, maybe i did take him for granted all this time and wants to prove to wonbin that it was him all along. but then a new person comes into the picture. during wonbin’s stay in ulsan he actually met a few people and took a liking to one of the lucky mfs. turns out said lucky person has a lot in common with wonbin and they instantly clicked. now at this point its yn whos chasing after wonbin who has his eyes set on a different person hence why its called taste of your own medicine because just not too long ago it was wonbin who was chasing yn who also had her eyes set on a different person (sungchan)
