Come out and support Breakthrough Miami Alumna Amanda, who goes by her artist name AmSouL, at “CONNECT” – a highly anticipated art showcase by RAW Artists Miami. The event will take place at Revolution Live (located at 100 SW 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312) on Thursday, September 13 from 7 – 11 pm.

Local artists will be exhibiting art over a variety of genres and mediums including visual arts, photography, hair & make-up, fashion, accessory design, music, and performance art. This event is 18+ and requires you to purchase a ticket for entry. AmSouL needs to sell 20 tickets to assist with promoting this event & we’re sure some of our BTM Family can help her out with this!

BTM Alumni Highlight - Meet Malcolm Howard Malcolm Howard lives in Miami, FL, where he works as a High School English Teacher at Miami Edison Senior High School. Malcolm is a graduate of the program and went on to become a teaching fellow from 2011 to 2016. He earned a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History form the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Malcolm also cofounded “I Learn, I Grow Tutoring Services” and serves as a member of the Profound Gentlemen Educator Network. During his free time, he enjoys serving his church, trying new recipes and refining his skills as an educator. In addition to this, he is also an Alumni Board Member who serves on both the Board Governance and Mentorship Committees. We appreciate all that you do Malcolm! #BreakthroughMiami #BTMAlumni
