Do you think that Polis could be a building and not a city like everybody is speculating?
I actually think that Polis IS a city and that the building is “The City of Light.” However, it has been mistranslated and it actually means “Place of Knowledge” and is a place where they have gathered information on ALIE and the ‘bombs’.
I wrote about this theory about “The Place of Knowledge”, Titus’s possible involvement, Murphy, and maybe Ontari’s too.(x)
I wrote how the Official Poster might symbolize Clarke and this Place being the ‘beacons’ of hope against ALIE.(x)
What do I think IS ALIE’s agenda or why she launched the bombs? or how the hell is she out of that mansion?!(x)
Now, this Tower might be in Polis or on the outskirts of Polis. However, ‘Polis’ is most likely the ruins of an EXISTING city in the United States or it could be ruins of a city NOT YET BUILT. So, when Jason said that “no one will figure this out” he meant it…because the city doesn’t even exist yet.

Lexa did say “Polis will change the way you think about us” and then Jason said on twitter: World-building Alert: the Grounder capitol is Polis. And Clarke just got an official invitation… #The100 #season3 #winkwink #The100Finale. The Grounder Capitol. Not the Trikru Capitol but the entire capitol of all grounders. It is probably a melting pot of all the different Clan cultures and that will help open Clarke’s eyes to WHO the grounders are and that they aren’t ‘savages’.
