Here's what I've been doing for the past few days!!! I made a plush of my fursona Yvonne(and the sweater)!!! I didnt follow any patterns or anything, it was all guesswork(which I will NOT be doing next time, I made so many mistakes) and it was all sewn by hand!! Here's a list of stuff I learned from this process:
Use appropriate colored thread(don't use dark thread on light fabric and vice versa)
Don't use tough t-shirt fabric, it will break your sewing machine and destroy your hands. Fleece is better!!
Don't overstuff!!! The limbs are all stiff now and the plush is no longer cuddly
Measure your stuff. This is the most important. Arms need to be able to fit through sleeves and limbs should be equal in length
Iron cloth that has been folded or wrinked before you start to work with it!!!
I think this is a huge improvement from my last plush but I still have a lot to learn!!! Any constructive criticism or tips would be appreciated!! The only thing I'll add to Yvonne from here on out are more kandi bracelets and maybe some boots
