never ever use bold, but yes, unitalicize for that. if you want you can put ’ ’ around the sentence to make it less confusing? because then people know it’s not dialogue but it’s a thought
hfjgd but unitalicizing is so trippy like i see it out of the corner of my eye when i'm reading and then i spend like a full ten seconds looking for the one word that upset the balance of nature but yeah i see what you mean lfjsdsdkds

I think you should put it in bold.
see usually i do use bold but lately it's seemed kind of tacky to me and idk i mean by the Laws of Writing or whatever this is supposed to be, like, unitalicizing is correct even though it's wEIRD
