BTS has announced that a new, special episode of their variety show ‘Run BTS’ will air soon. On 2nd August at midnight KST, the K-pop band debuted a surprise teaser video for a forthcoming special episode of 'Run BTS', a web series that debuted in 2015.

As ‘Gangnam Style’ celebrates its 10th anniversary, the number of YouTube music video views has surpassed 4.4 billion, and interest is also focused on the following K-pop music video.

‘Gangnam Style’ is the title track of Psy’s 6th album, and the sound source and music video were released on July 15, 2012. In the recent report titled ’10 Years of Gangnam Style: How Psy’s Big Hit Introduced Korean Culture to the World’, US CNN focused on ‘Gangnam Style’ in depth. K-pop expert Lee Gyu-tak, a professor at George Mason University in Korea, said in an interview with <CNN>, “Diffusive media platforms such as YouTube have made K-pop and Hallyu popular in foreign countries.” Boys and Blackpink would not have been there.”

As of the 25th, the number of views of the music video for ‘Gangnam Style’ reached 4.48 billion.

In fourth place was BTS’ ‘Poems for Little Things’, which recorded 1.555 billion views. 5th place is also BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ with 1.527 billion views. Next in 6th-10th place was Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ (1.54 billion), Blackpink’s ‘Boombaya’ (1.4 billion), BTS’s ‘Mic Drop’ (1.2 billion), and Blackpink’s ‘As If It’s Your Last’ ( 11 billion). In the top 10, Black Pink has 5 songs, BTS has 3 songs, and Psy has 2 songs. As this music video surpassed 2 billion views for the first time on YouTube content, YouTube had to increase its server capacity. In addition, Billboard reduce the number of radio broadcasts on the chart and added a reflection of YouTube views. BTS also thanked Psy for this.

Globally, the first place is Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ (7.9 billion), Ed Sheeran’s ‘The Shape of You’ (5.7 billion), Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ (55) 100 million), Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ (4.6 billion) is in 4th place, and ‘Gangnam Style’ is in 5th place.

Meanwhile, the music video for ‘That That’, produced with BTS member Suga in Psy’s ninth album <Cheap 9>, released in April, garnered 200 million views on YouTube, recording the highest number of views among K-pop songs released this year.

we all know that jungkook and jimin are amazing singers and so but holy shit why I always feel the Jin and V are left when is about lines in songs??? that's songs that I don't even knew that was jin and v singing in the part because they put jungkook singing louder. when v sings alone in the old songs he was always growing like if was the only think that he was good at???? right now when I hear he singing with he normal voice it literally make me cry. and jin omg so little lines that when I heard awake for the first time it sounds like was my first time listen to his voice. and don't even get me started in screen time.... (this is like only the half of what I think)
