Imagine ur group and bts group Collabs and u get really close to maknaeline (u get close to the rest of the members as well) and ur groups decided to have a group cook out? Is that what it's called in Korea? Anyways u guys have a cook out while on live and maknae line + jin start piling food on ur plate making sure u eat enough, they feed u and also give u some food off their plate, they also praise u on ur dance and vocal skills and army and ur fandom notices and starts loving it, talking about how cute they are and how protective they are off u. And once awhile jin goes over to u and feeds u smth off his plate.
(THIS DOESNT HAVE TO BE A REQUEST I JUST REALLY WANNA HEAR UR THOUGHTS ON THIS!! AND IF U LIKE THIS ENOUGH U CAN OFC USE IT AS A REQUEST ‼️)
BTS Soft Thoughts – No Warning Needed
(Hi, excuse me, this is so cute? I- I love this? It’s just hella wholesome. Soft thought, love it. I know you said group but I read it as Y/N being a soloist cause I thought it would be easier to write TT^TT)
You can’t remember a night being this nice in a long while. You’re technically still on schedule, this had all been planned after the collaboration had gone through and been uploaded, but still, there are fairy lights strung up between mosquito lamps, a radio gently playing acoustic music in the background, and the smell of sizzling meat all around. It’s the perfect atmosphere to relax, and the fact that your newly found friends and collaborators, BTS, are sharing in the moment is an added bonus.
When you’d arrived, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin had practically swarmed you, the youngest of them all, expression just one big smile, had easily scooped you off the ground in a welcoming hug. Out of all the boys he’d been the most hesitant to offer friendly contact, so mindful and full of respect for you. Over the weeks of production on your track, however, you’d managed to get him comfortable, and the rest of the maknae line had seamlessly followed suit.
You were ushered to the table, Jimin’s arm around your waist and when you’d sat down, Yoongie and Namjoon were already at the grill, nodding their hellos to you, Hobi fiddling with the stereo a few feet away, a plate of assorted banchan was placed in front of you. When you followed the arm of the person presenting you with the pre-meal, it was Jin. The oldest of the boys had taken a shine to you immediately and you’d been flattered to garner his attention and from there it was easy to slip into an oddly familiar friendship.
Now the food has been cooked and is warming on plates in the middle of the long table, all eight bodies getting comfortable before they're signaled by managers on the other side of the outdoor patio that the V-live is starting.
Immediately you watch a flood of purple hearts roll in and can’t help but smile. You’d been worried about ARMY at first, the BTS fanbase is legendary and while yours isn’t anything to sniff at either, it’s still intimidating. However, since the rumblings of your collaboration with the team had started to surface you’d hardly seen a single ill-typed word against it, and after the song dropped it was much of the same. It had been a big relief and you hadn’t actually realized how worried you’d truly been until you no longer needed to be.
You catch your own fans popping in as well, throwing around star emojis to offset the sea of hearts and show that they’re there too. It makes you smile, and it only grows wider when the boys say hello to them as well.
There are questions and you answer what’s addressed to you for the first few minutes, taking little breaks to drink and snap up some bulgogi with your chopstick while the boys take over and keep the fans entertained.
You notice, between one sip of sprite and the next, that a foreign pair of chopsticks hovers over your plate and drops a slice of pork belly on top of your rice. You turn and Taehyung is very badly pretending that he isn’t the culprit.
“Y/N is our guest, so Taehyungie better be generous.” Jin’s voice draws your attention, and you remember the live is still going. It makes you laugh and immediately, like Taehyung’s gesture was a challenge, Jimin and Jungkook also grab large slices of meat off their plates and deposit them on yours. You can’t even pretend it’s not funny and there's more laughter on your tongue while you shake your head. You’re going to give them back, not really needing the extra when Jin’s raised brow makes you pause. He’s expecting you to eat them it seems, and you fight the roll of your eyes and instead shovel the food into your mouth, causing the boys around you to double over at the way your cheeks bulge.
They’re satisfied at least, as are the fans. Both fanbases making notes on the cuteness of how the younger members are taking care of you, how lucky you are to be taken care of so well. You couldn’t agree more.
After a bit, everyone takes a break from eating (you especially since the maknae trio had decided you were supposedly malnourished and continued to pile more food in front of you, Jin as well). The comments and questions are rolling in again, more focused on the song now that introductions and more personal inquiries have been answered. You’re glad to sing the boy’s praises, not a lie in anything you say, from how Hobi had been patient with teaching you the choreography, especially when you seemed to fall behind, and how Jungkook had kept you on track with the chorus harmonies. Mostly you talk about how the experience had been amazing and that any artist would be lucky to work with them in the future.
“We’re lucky too, Y/N is a hard worker and very talented.” Jimin beams at you, and you return the smile even as your cheeks flush under the compliment. The others murmur their agreements, but Taehyung continues Jimin’s sentiment.
“They never get mad either, even when things aren’t working, Y/N just keeps going until it’s perfect.” It’s too much and you move to hide your face behind your hand only for Jin to reach and pull it away with a laugh.
“You complimented us so you can’t hide when we compliment you.” It’s a fair agreement you think but you still don’t like it.
“Y/N has the perfect voice for the song too, don’t you agree?” Jungkook leans close to the phone the live is streaming from, addressing both fanbases who flood the chat with supportive emojis and words, rushing out any negative responses your eyes can barely keep track of.
Both you and the boys continue on like that for a while more, sipping your drinks and trading praise until the managers signal once more and you’re preparing to say goodbye.
Before the live shuts down, however, Jin makes one last move, grabbing up a slice of beef off his plate and leans over, holding the food in front of you. It makes everyone giggle behind their hands, especially when you squawk and, realizing he has no plans to back down, reluctantly accept the offering, the eldest turning to the camera and winking right before the feed it cut.
If you’d thought their laughter had been loud when you’d taken the food, that was nothing compared to when you snatched up a cube of ice from your drink and dropped it down the back of Jin’s shirt in retaliation, sparking a chase around the patio lawn, the younger members joining in as well, on your side of course.
